I have somewhat of a love hate relationship with Tallica. I was a major fan up until Load but after that my enthusiasm for the band waned. Deth Magnetic was a very good album so im hopefull that they've got their mojo back.

Quick story...

Back in the early 1980's i use to hang out a lot in downtown San Francisco. On a regular basis I would notice this dude buying Pot who always wore this bell bottom levi jean jacket outfit with cut off black gloves.

Because of the guy's overall 'coolness' factor he stood out. A few years later, when Metallica became really big, i realised that the guy i use to see was Cliff Burton.

Anyway almost every song from the albums Kill Em All to the Black Album are my favorites.

P.S

I could swear that about 4 years ago i was checking out the official Metallica website and they (Metallica) had put up a video of them playing Sister by Prince live. I'm sure i seen it. Does anybody ever remember a video like that on the Metallica site or elsewhere ?

Yep.

James Hetfield has been known to have some issues as well though. He's made what could be considered racist comments in the past. Ice T (with Body Count) did some shows with Metallica and Guns and Roses and Ice said that everybody in Metallica were cool except James. He(ice) said "dude(james) has Problems". On the other hand james is cool with the black lead singer of the band Hirax and the guy(lloyd Grant) who played lead guitar on the first pressing of the song Hit the lights(for the Metal Massacre Compilation) is black.

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.
