When you hear the name Beck, do you think of Jeff Beck or Beck (Hansen)

When you see the name Beck, do you think of Jeff Beck, the guitar icon, or the alternative music artist Beck (Hansen)?

In 1999 Jeff Beck wanted to call his album BECK, but due to Mr. Hansen, he called his album WHO ELSE!

I've known Jeff Beck for far longer, but when I hear "Beck" I think of Beck Hansen.

It's always been "Jeff Beck" for the guitar player.

When I hear Beck, I think of Jeff Beck, mainly because I go back to the days of the great debates of who was the guitar God: Clapton, Page, Beck or Hendrix, and they were all referred to by their last names for the most part.

The artist known as "Beck" that came to fame in early Nineties is really

Bek David Campbell. He used his mother's maiden name to get the Hansen, and changed the spelling of his first name from Bek to Beck.

There is also a jazz guitar player named Joe Beck who died in 2008.

Beck Hansen.

I don't think Jeff Beck has been commonly referred to only with his last name (like Hendix, Lennon or Clapton were). At least I've never caught anyone do that. I've been reading music magazines, books and so on since the early-90s. Might have been different earlier.

I think of the guy who released Odelay and Vultures, two of my fav 90s albums

I don't particularly appreciate Jeff Beck, he's the arrogant-"I think I'm Mozart" herald of late 60s/early 70s rock, when it stopped being Rock and Roll
