It has to be an album of new material, whether it's a compilation of singles not on albums, a live album, a normal album, ect. 2. AMAZING Rnb album not to be missed!
But I'll like to observe I don't think it's nice to mix jazz with popular music albums, for the styles are TOO different. If it's okay to mix it, then we could put Classical music here also. The genres are TOO different to be compared. It makes no sense to have 5 jazz albums amongst 495 popular music albums. It gives a FALSE picture of what jazz is. My suggestion is to make separate lists. There are many people who see similarities between Bowie's and Prince's work, and I include myself among them. Seeing this album, I just got to think of another similarity. At least to me, it's very difficult to elect a single Bowie, as well as a single Prince, masterpiece, the greatest album. What if the named albums were subject to be "voted" or "liked", in the style of facebook, so that more orgers would participate and we could rank the named albums, while everyone keeps waiting their turn?
