I don't get why an artist of his talent is ignored at a place like the org where usually an artist like him is more appreciated..all you need to see is this clip from the Amy Winehouse tribute to see that this cat has "got it"

Bruno Mars is talented--I saw him live--but he ain't no Prince.

But it's the truth, looking at the first 2 years of each career. "Just the way you are", "the lazy song" and "billionaire" aren't in the same league as "soft and wet", "I wanna be your lover" and "uptown", by a LOOOONG shot. Lyrically and musically.

I know you'll prob say Bruno has better tracks than those, but if so, damn, those saccharine songs I named above should have been shelved and never released!

Bruno creates songs for the masses, Prince creates his own, invents his own style. So I won't say "new" Prince, but "wannabe" Prince, because Prince has done it all before!

he ,lady gaga, and adele are probably the most talanted mainstream artist right now. however i wouldnt compare him to prince, nor would i compare anything he has done or is doing "Thriller Status" . i like bruno, and want to see him live.. but no, i disagree.
