Favorite Latin Songs?

I'm really feeling this Juan Gabriel song at the moment....Porque Me Haces Llorar?

You can really feel his suffering and angst. What are you favorite latin songs?

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Empress

Almost anything from the Buena Vista Social Club.

Unfortunately, so many of those greats are no longer with us, but those that still are, carry the torch for the next generation of members.

I also LOVE this one:

Julieta Venegas - "Andar Conmigo"

When she performs this live, everyone sings along.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

The earlier release Chicle is pretty good. They released an EP few months ago. I haven't heard the new one except the Tainted Love remake.

Romeo Santos! I heard that voice and thought it sounded familiar...He's the ex-lead singer of Aventura, who's hit "Un Beso" is among my favorite songs of all time! His voice is butter! Thanks!

Simply sung, and elegant.

Can somebody please recommend some good mariachi/banda songs? I'm kind of recently getting into this style of music but don't know where to start or what's really good/popular.

Traditional Mariachi music:

Mexican Hat Dance - Jarabe

La Cucaracha

Viva El Amor

Guadalajara

Por Culpa Tuya

Perlitas

Paloma Negra

Ojitos Verdes

Arboles de la Barranca

Tequila Con Limon

Mexico Lindo

Por Un Amor

El Carretero

Cielito Lindo

Son De La Negra

Las Alazanas

El Jarabe Tapatio

La Bikina

Tu Solo Tu

Y Andale

La Mariquita

El Rey

Volver, Volver

I really like Vicente Fernandez, but you can go back to Jose Alfredo Jimenez, Gerardo Reyes and Antonio Aguilar too. Linda Ronstadt also put out a CD called "Canciones De Mi Padre", which is excellent. I also like Ana Gabriel and Juan Gabriel, but they have other music aside from mariachi.

Mariachi Los Camperos De Nati Cano, Jose Ortega and his Mariachi Ensemble, Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitlan are all good groups. Mariachi Divas is an all female group.
