The earlier release Chicle is pretty good. They released an EP few months ago. I haven't heard the new one except the Tainted Love remake. I really like Vicente Fernandez, but you can go back to Jose Alfredo Jimenez, Gerardo Reyes and Antonio Aguilar too. Linda Ronstadt also put out a CD called "Canciones De Mi Padre", which is excellent. I also like Ana Gabriel and Juan Gabriel, but they have other music aside from mariachi.
Mariachi Los Camperos De Nati Cano, Jose Ortega and his Mariachi Ensemble, Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitlan are all good groups. Mariachi Divas is an all female group.
