i frequented the same record stores as Rollins back in da days. Yesterday & Today records on Rockville pike, Md. i believe Henry was tight with the owner Skip.

Thank god Henry is still with us. I'm sure you guys are aware of the incident in Venice(ca)where he almost got killed. Two guys with guns rushed Henry and his friend as they were entering their house. Henry ran to the bedroom and jumped out the window but the gunmen shot and killed his friend.

Oh yeah man! i saw the spoken word on that & the unsolved mystery.

The worst of it was Henry said the police where calling the 2 of them faggots & laughing at the situation that is just sad.

The situation with henry was sad. The guy that died was an famous actors son. On another note. I know a few people from the area(and gang)where the incident took place(Venice Shoreline Crip hood). The people i know are cool but the dudes that killed henrys friend are not(don't know them).

As for me being new. I started lurking on the org around 2002 but i didn't sign up and start posting until Sept of last year. Been here a Year !

The way he tells the story is funny, haunting & tragic all at the same time.

Henry may come as an angry douchebag to many, but he actually has lots of struggles in life & gets them out in stuff like spoken word. And he is also very supportive of the gay community & of many different music forms.

There was also an interview where people where some racists shit had been said cause the people that killed Joe where African Americans. And Rollins basically said the men that did it where evil, they where skinless & colorless to him. And that suggesting that someone because of color should be insulted because someone of that color does something evil is ignorant.

So Henry is actually a pretty cool dude just got that male agression
