60s' R&B and Soul Battle: North vs South

In the 60s' damn near all the big soul hits were either coming from the south or the north (or east coast, whatever.)

Which was your favorite region?

THE SOUTH

James Brown

Sam Cooke

STAX Records

Atlantic Records

The Staple Singers

Joe Tex

Joe Simon

Bobby 'Blue' Bland

THE NORTH

Jackie Wilson

Curtis Mayfield and the Impressions

Motown

Vee-Jay Records

O'Keh Records

Bruinswick Records

O'Jays

PRINCE: Always and Forever
MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever
