VANITYSprisonB YTCH	"24 Hour Party People" Just watched this... very cool movie...follows Manchester during the late 70's post-punk (new wave) movement...the film shows real footage of the Sex Pistols, The Jam, Happy Mondays, Joy Division among others...very documentary like... Anyone else see it??? Every minute of last night is on my face today....

endorphin74	I really enjoyed this movie I need to see it again, tho. The theater I saw it in was having audio problems and the sound cut out 3 different times. One of those times was as Shawn Ryder was screwing his label over and leaving them...I could see it was an important moment, but couldn't hear a damn thing.. The soundtrack rocks as well!

VANITYSprisonB YTCH	Yes...you should see it again...it's out on video/DVD now... Everytime I hear "Trasmission" I go off doing the Ian Curtis dance! LOL... "...Dance..Dance..Dance...Dance Dance to the radio!!!" Every minute of last night is on my face today....

Yes, we HAVE to see it again! That stupid theatre made me mad!

TRON	Just saw it! Loved every minute of it. Chronicles 2 of my favorite bands. I'm buying this movie.

PhilG	I saw it too! Manchester bands are my favorites: Joy Division, Smiths, Buzzcocks, Chameleons, A Certain Ratio, a lot of great bands came from this city...
