Oh well, I guess that's the end of that. I'm not really interested in Rhona Bennett, if that's who "that chick" is. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton |

En Vogue Members Sue Each Other
August 17, 2012

Three members of En Vogue have revealed that they are suing each other.
Singer Maxine Jones, who left the band earlier this month, revealed on her Twitter page that her bandmates Terry Ellis and Cindy Herron "forced" her out and have taken legal action against her.
She wrote: "Yup Terry n Cindi r evil! They took over the LLC n bank acct, forced me out, gave my gigs to that chick LOL, and SUING #ME!
"@MaxineJonesEV Real arrogant bitches drunk over power lol! My lawyer and I look forward to court! We're gonna catch it on our reality show 2 lol."
Former member Dawn Robinson, with whom Jones plans to form a new version of the group, added: "Don't worry about it Max lol! The truth about they're asses had to come out sooner or later! Do NOT erase these messages lol!"
En Vogue's original lineup reformed in 2010, where they played a series of shows including a date at London's Indigo2.
The band released three successful albums in the 1990s and a string of hit singles, including 'Hold On', 'My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)' and their signature song 'Don't Let Go (Love)'.
Now this is sad. When did the day come when has been artists start putting their legal affairs with other groupmates on Twitter and then brag that the dirty laundry will be shown for all to see on a reality show?! How old are these women again? Too trifling for me. [Edited 8/17/12 9:16am] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

Thats the sad part. Instead of fighting over the years they could have made a bigger impact on music and made their fanbase alot bigger....there the best vocal girl group that has came out over the last 30 years.. they all could blow... SAD |

I'm guessing (they think) they can make more money in a bitchy gosspifest reality show lawsuit than they can making music together. And sadly they're probably right.
They were one of the few r&b groups I really liked in the early 90s, thought about seeing them in '10. Woulda been nice. But oh well. |

I think this would be released by Foster & McElroy, since they made all the money and En Vogue made little. Crazy. That's like those 80's heavy metal bands that splinter off and sue each other over the name.
Rhona Bennet used to be on the "Jaime Foxx" show. She was his co-worker at Jingles 2000.
..and who is 51 years old in En Vogue? I thought they were all 41-43ish. |

And this was what Dawn's initial beef was that Foster & McElroy were making the
money and the group was getting peanuts. Unfortunately Dawn's beef with them
spilled over into the group. Don't laugh at my funk
