VH1's series Behind The Music is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year and Grammy-winning singer Toni Braxton is one of eight new artists to be featured on the show this season.

Braxton will speak candidly about her health struggles, including her Lupus diagnosis and her son's autism, and her two bankruptcy filings. Behind The Music: Toni Braxton airs October 28 at 9p.m. on VH1.

It'll be interesting but MOST of it, im guessing is just gonna talk about personal life stuff, looking at the list of upcoming shows, they are all based in drama's, thats all your gonna get from now on, SURE BTM is all about the ratings and drama, but at one point, the artists on that show had a catalog of music to talk about.

I'm sure they will do a pretty good job on her, but she's never really been that interesting to me. The only album I love by her is her debut. After that, her music has been touch and go with me. shrug

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I wonder if she regrets any career decisions? She should for "More Than A Woman." That album was her rock bottom point and signing with Barry Hankerson didn't help the situation.

yeah thats what i was driving at, i like Toni but im guessing that 75% of this show is gonna be on drama and nothing music related, and YES the title is behind the music, but the music part should be interesting at some point, as much as i like her, shes another Mariah to me, for the eyes, weak albums for the most part, great voice, but keeps putting out sub par material

I have though always wondered why she stooped low posing nearly naked on the Vibe cover that year. At that point, I think her career was pretty decent, but why she felt the need to do that and then started with the sleazy evening dresses (the media were comparing it with J-Ho's dresses) pretty much leaving nothing to the imagination...it left me wondering, who are you? What type of image was she going for? It was like she was screaming to not be adult comtemporary R&B and wanted to be something else. lol If that makes any sense.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I think she was approaching an age were they feel threatened and i dont remember what year that was, but i would say thats what it was. I too feel the same way, i mean i dont mind that she is sexy, but thats always going to come across because its natural for her, to throw it in your face was something she never had to do

I agree..... I remember I think last year or the year before last she was on the Wendy Williams show or some show where she was talking with someone on the show and she was saying how she was thinking about doing a Playboy spread eek and the other woman said that she shouldnt do it because shes beautiful and doesnt need to go that route and the audience clapped. She came off kinda insecure about getting older. I think Toni is beautiful and she doesnt have to do that. I love her voice and her as an artist. I mostly adore her 90s material.

Toni's first 3 albums were good. The Heat was her last solid album.

It started to go downhill with More Than A Woman. She got Mariah

fever and did that terrible Hit the Freeway with the rapper loon.

That was the last cd i bought by her but i did like 3 tracks on it but

it was a disappointment.

That sounds right to me. I think they had to sue him. I'm not 100% on this, but I think it's something similar to that.

I agree with you for sure.

I thought Libra was a really good album. I still enjoy playing trax from that. It was "hip-hop" flavored also, but it wasn't a bad album at all.

I liked a few tracks on "Pulse," but it didn't move me like her previous works either.

Libra's only single, "Please", was a massive jam. That was the last Toni album I bought.
