nuts Uh...someone should tell him that,in this day and age, most new albums don't sell alot of copies. Those days are over.Be happy with the sales you get,and focus on touring instead. That's where the real money is,anyway.

And if he had artistic integrity or cared about his "legacy" he NEVER would've released "Fortune".

Chris is a target in blogs because he's so ill tempered and easy to piss off. If he would just shut up and record music, he'd be fine. I really think he needs his Twitter deactivated also because that's what sidetracks him and adds fuel to the flame. Chris has potential to have a decent career span but his actions is what keeps him at the bottom of the barrel. Not to mention he hasn't even did any sort of promotion for the record.

Yeah he's over in Cannes now, not promoting the record. But like I said I doubt any promotion would help this album.

FAME had some really strong hits prior to it's release.

I hope a flop will do him good. He seems to have bought his own hype with the success of FAME. So he goes and acts like he wants to act, and that includes putting out another album so soon after FAME. We all know he released a bunch of outtakes to make Fortune. He didn't have enough strong material, and how could he while he's distracted with Twitter wars and getting in bar fights over his biggest distraction Rihanna?

If he is iondeed on coke (it looks likely) it explains a lot. Maybe a little rehab, some rest and a TOTAL divorce from social media can put him in the right direction.

He's in Cannes bullshitting when he needs to be making an effort in putting the word out about Fortune. If you're not promoting, why should anyone be interested in your product?

Fortune is a solid album IMO.

1. Don't Judge Me

2. Bassline

3. 2012

4. Trumpet Lights

those should be the final singles before putting a fork in this album. He needs to go and get his thoughts together.

I don't know if the album can be saved. It's just not the climate for ressurecting percieved stiffs.

But I did say that there's some tracks that can do something IF the record company is interested in expanding his catalogue.

"Don't Judge Me" is one of them.

And I'm an appreciator of "Party Hard".

The best song he "leaked" this year is "Oh Yeah" with Snoop, which could have been huge as radio single. And yet, it's not even on the album. Chris Brown is such a dullard.

This boy's career is going in the dumps. He had one other flop before this one...you know the one after the whole Rihanna thing. He has come to the end of the road. IT'S OVA NOW. lol

But "Grafitti" was a good album.

"Crawl" would've been a smash sans scandal.

Brown is in Cannes now, and at a party, the paparazzi asked him his opinion of Ocean. Brown just said "No homo" before getting in a car and leaving. Apparently these 2 had a falling out last year after Brown and Tyler The Creator got into a twitter argument lol Anyway, I hope Ocean trounces Brown in sales this year. What a clown.

I wouldn't know if it was good or not because nothing about Chris appeals to me, but I know for sure that album did almost nothing for him. It came and went.

Probably got a point, but that's questionable though. It seemed that during 2008-January 2009, Chris was at his peak. Even though people were riding the whole Rihanna and Chris bandwagon, claiming they were the "cutest heartthrob couple," Chris really had people going hard for him. After that "Forever" single and the beatdown, things went downhill. But that Exclusive album was huge for him.

And, Bieber would be completely unknown now as well.

Damn, the hate is strong in this thread.

Regardless of his actions, I still think Breezy is a very talented artist. For those saying Fortune was trash....wth? That album was dope as hell. Everyone is entitled to their opinions tho...

2012 is the best song to come out this year imo. CB killed it with that joint!

I don't mean any harm but the hate is strong because Chris makes it that way. lol If his talent is that strong, then it would outshadow his immature behavior, but since it doesn't then, oh well. shrug

All of his albums are 'trash', except his debut, which was only slightly above average at best.

Perhaps if he had gone to jail, things might be better. People wouldn't feel the need to hate on him as much, and his attitude might have improved.

falloff Is he financially hurting like this? Maybe if Chris wasn't renting multi-million dollar yachts to 'film a video' which just seems to be code for 'hook up with Rihanna' according to many tabloid outlets, maybe he could save some dollars and not be crying poor mouth. I'm just sayin. shrug
