Yeah i mean im going hard because this is such a self obsessed age, people post things up on Facebook like they are the only ones that exist, people are just a little too cozy with the idea that they are the shit and their shit dont stink etc... Calling out your fans, shit be humble, this goes for anyone at this point, be glad you are even selling 10 copies in this day and age, between the economy and just the fact that these artists and music now ISNT that important to the listeners of todays stuff, plain and simple, and then again hes just an a-hole no getting around that

exactly and last year i forgot who called out their label for sales, it was a rap artist, forgot who though, but the point is, that MUSIC isnt the imortant thing to people growing up now, there is so much competiton for your attention and then other media things like twitter, facebook, your iPhone apps, who the hell even listens to music at this point to maybe the way i did growing up in the 80's when those other things didnt get in the way, all these cats need to be humble, be glad anyone buys

Frank Ocean opened his tour by saying, and I paraphrase:

"I have an album out. Some of you bought it and that's cool. Some of you didn't buy it and that's still cool." I think he went on to not give a F but I'm not sure.

This is someone who I believe is STILL streaming his album for free and released it a week early HAVING to know it was going to piss off somebody.

They had a NITWITter run-in last year, so it ain't that far fitched. But I don't think Frank is or should be bothered by Piss Brown. He already had the support of folks who notice of him since Odd Future to Novacane to Pyramid, while Piss Brown got the support of the short attention spam having crowd who post in their FB accounts "I wish I was hit by Chris Brown".

If his intention to piss of Breezy, BRILLIANT lol although I don't think its the case.

Cmon chris, you know that twitter shit isn't going to help your career after that whole bullshcrap you put on twitter ... stop the bullshit and be a bit more creative with your TALENT. Please forget whats happening around you, even your fans. Delete everything and WORK on your music chris, keep some of that good old fashioned mystery... never gets old.

They think that the number of followers they have is supposed to translate over to record sales but that doesn't happen. They don't realize that just because someone took the time to follow you when you were hot doesn't mean they still do. It just means they haven't taken the time to un-follow you because you've become so irrelevant to them. Life goes on Breezy, DEAL!!! lol

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

The reason I posted this was just to show that Frank Ocean pretty much knows that the music is gonna get out there and he has no control of that fact once it's out there so he ain't sweatin' it. He sure doesn't seem to care that his moves have more then likely hurt his album sales in the long run.

And that Twitter war he and Chris had was more a battle between Chris and Tyler UNTIL they chased Frank around yelling at him out of their car.

Now see, I didn't know that disbelief lol All I knew that Frank paid a compliment to Chris by calling him "He's talented, he reminds me of a young Sisqo or Ike Turner" after supposedly Chris giving him a backhanded compliment, and it escalated from there.

And my apologies, I missed your point, which is dead on the money.

I have a little trouble following your post.

Is JT ridiculous or does he know what he's doing?

My take:

He's not much of a self-starter, seemingly waiting for a sure thing before he puts an album out because he has nothing that he's come up with on his own that he considers strong enough. With him and Pharrell on the outs and with Timbaland falling off, he has no connections. I suppose he hasn't worked up a working relationship with Diplo yet to put out something.

He's going for an acting career but guess what that ain't music. Who cares?

Wait, I don't understand?

So if I'm correct he's dropping fans from his Twitter account because the album isn't doing well?

I could've told him that the album wasn't going to do well. The writing was on the wall when none of the singles took. And the promotion was haphazrd, but it still wouldn't have saved THIS album.

If I were his manager he wouldn't of put out an album this year but I digress.

He's delusional. As if his fans are THAT devoted to him. Hasn't he heard of ups and downs and here today, gone tomorrow?

The man thinks he's the second coming of Michael Jackson, and hence his fans would be as loyal. lol As if...

His PR people aren't doing a great job marketing him lately. He's becoming more of a joke. This album could very well be the man's "Bionic". lol
