And I am sure that if it all was due to the kids overreacting, being hysterical and seeking attention, there wouldn’t be a reason for the adults to cry in the public and fighting to the point where cops needed to be called.

Yep. I think trying to get Mama Kate out from under that subpoena for depo is the most likely explanation for the ruse. She would be required to answer questions instead of reading a prepared statement and none of the siblings would be allowed to hover over her and guide her answers.

Hiding witnesses to avoid answering a subpoena is very common. Do you think Mama Kate has gotten wind of the contents of that letter yet? She has publically denied being in ill health so I doubt that she knew what the letter contained. Her regular doctor also denies any recent illness despite the sibling's claims that she was away under "doctor's orders".

Being that the children were also left in the dark about the real reason for her trip, they blew the sibling's cover when they heard about the letter and started asking questions, I'm not even sure Mama Kate knew the kids were being prevented from talking to her either.

Now that the whole thing has backfired in spectacular fashion, people are going to have to answer to the judge and his investigator.

Not only NO DENIAL, Miss "Nasty" Jackson said that the message was "misunderstood". Therefore, she is actually admitting that the screen message is true. The fact that her 15 year old nephew call her out on her LIE has her scared shitless. kat should be able to answer every question aeg has, with clarity, since she's the one who filed this suit. janet and tito and rebbie have made damning allegations about mj, therefore aeg has every right to challenge kat's assertion that aeg is responsible for mj's drug problem when you have her own children out in the public painting him as a long-time junkie. to the extent that they have all told differing stories depending on the circumstances, they have no desire to be deposed or cross-examined on these stories. their lawsuit is going down in flames, and they're angry that the execs have allowed them all to be strung up by their own ropes. as well they should be.

Yep. I think trying to get Mama Kate out from under that subpoena for depo is the most likely explanation for the ruse. She would be required to answer questions instead of reading a prepared statement and none of the siblings would be allowed to hover over her and guide her answers.

Hiding witnesses to avoid answering a subpoena is very common. Do you think Mama Kate has gotten wind of the contents of that letter yet? She has publically denied being in ill health so I doubt that she knew what the letter contained. Her regular doctor also denies any recent illness despite the sibling's claims that she was away under "doctor's orders".

Being that the children were also left in the dark about the real reason for her trip, they blew the sibling's cover when they heard about the letter and started asking questions, I'm not even sure Mama Kate knew the kids were being prevented from talking to her either.

Now that the whole thing has backfired in spectacular fashion, people are going to have to answer to the judge and his investigator.

Now after reading such a well explained, sensible post, you know there will still be people pointing out this entire fiasco as being the children's (specifically Paris's fault)? They'll point out that and, er, um, they're not Mike's blood children with any blood connection to the Jackson Family, so why are they getting that money anyway? Or something to that effect
