What happened is that he never really grieved her death and as a result, he suppressed it and went nuts. I think Kanye is talented and I'm a fan even though most of the time he seems lost and talks himself into oblivion. The one thing I can respect about him is that he's not like anyone else. But the whole him and Kim relationship thing is equivalent to when Diddy was dating Jennifer Lopez.

I agree but I must say some of the new songs (3-4 I believe) he put out this year has been very underwhelming. I'm a big fan but I haven't been impressed with this recent music.

mjscarousal	I think what happened to Kanyes mother was very very devastating and I exactly liked him musically when he first came out but I havent been all that impressed with him. His recent material makes me less and less and less of a fan. I just hope he pulls away from Jay Z's way of thinking music and tries to push himself more artistically. [Edited 7/1/12 19:49pm]

Kanye is just like any other rapper out there who started off all "artistic" and had "deep" lyrics, but when he became a bazillionaire, his lyrics dumbed down and he became just like everybody else.

I ain't mad at him. He likes the mansion he stays in, he doesn't want to give it up. lol

Jay-Z was the same way. And so was Tupac.
