It pains me to admit this but he is sexy as hell on that cover and in the movie too! I actually enjoyed the film and i was not a fan of his but I am now! His performance was fantastic. He really gave it his all. I'm not sure why people are trashing him so much. Stacee Jaxx is the man! | |

There are tons of fantastic-looking forty/fiftysomethings, actually. But I agree: Tom looks great.
I was entirely unimpressed with Tom's looks until the late '90s. I think he becomes more attractive with age. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

That ''braying donkey'' is charming and dangerous in Rock of Ages, the linchpin of the entire film. His portrayal of Stacee Jaxx is worthy of attention and accolades. Rock on! | |

the story line is vomiticious (as a remake) , the acting is mortifying and tom cruise's character portrayal is worse than cold oatmeal over rotten boiled eggs.
i tried to stay to watch it, but my higher more enlightened self pulled me back to reality. imo this was one no star movie.
tom's voice singing could have been appreciated if the acting hadn't been so inane. i walked out right in the middle of stacee jaxx/tom cruise singing "wanted dead or alive." he actually sounded good. however my leaving the theater felt better.

that movie ('legend') was kinda scwierd, aka: scary and weird imo. but yeah, tom did have corrective dental work done after that movie. cause he definently had some over lapping canines. but i didn't know he had freckles. now he looks very handsome on a good day. here in this pix "a good day." i wish the backdrop and story line could have been more choice. who knows maybe the campiness of the movie will create a cult following. tom deserves more credit for looking like a fine rock n roll maestro. plus imo he's got some chops.
