7 aurelius The Prince inspired producer ex Murder Inc musician/producer

It looks like 7 Aurelius is going to launch his label.
If anyone knows about 7 aurelius, they know he followed his dream to be a success in music to the bitter hard dark reality. He was homeless only 2 years ago and he fought to get a audition to Irv Gotti. This was his chance out

He gave him a beat disc to check out. Irv never called him back and 7 took it into his own hands to get a foot in the door with Irv Gotti. He went to NY and demanded a audition.
Irv made him go against the entire producer staff for a showdown of tracks and 7's challenge was to do it right on the spot. And he scorched everybody in the building.

So then the first project 7 got was Ja Rule album.
He did alot of ghost producer work for Murder Inc like "Down Ass Chick" "Down for you"
H

He produced most of Ashanti's album/Did alot of the Murder Inc stuff to get to the next step.

Now Aurelius is taking a leap into his own label with the money he made.

He also produced "Mariah Careys Sweet Invitation" which sounds real jazzy and soulful atmospheric like with a live band and rhodes. He produced a remake of Princes "Irresistable Chick" w/Eve for her album. He also did "Gangsta Lovin" with Eve/Alicia Keys
He did "Whats Love" with Fat Joe Ashanti. The Im Real remix with J-lo remix he co produced. For close to 2 years he has been on the airwaves.

So if someone is interested in checking out who he is coming out with then I guess go March 7th. Will see if it sounds any good.

just thought id mention that.
7 aurelius was also invited at the Prince One Nite alone release party.

Does anyone know if Prince is a admirer of his music or what? Just curious

anyways his label site launches
March 7th 2003

http://www.7aurelius.com

Hope he does alright ..

7 is the shit,,without him Irv nor Ja woulda been this big. He's the MAIN thang behind them,,without him they would be nothing.

BTW he show cased his upmost talent when he produced "Subtle Invitation",,,I'm happy that he went solo.

Subtle Invitation is dope. I love how he arranged that. I wish the other stuff he did with Mariah would surface. Technically "7th sign" is a label to showcase his artists and talents to make a Producer name for himself.

Do you think he can build a label on his own? Do you think he has the vision to do this? What I mean is actually score hits without any of the sample lifts?

Did you hear about his solo album? He says its strange with alot of guitars. He said he might put it out in european market first.

Did you see him at the grammys playin the piano for Ashanti? I think that was him.

Read the Wall Street article at the library. This was pretty good and it told what 7 was up against in a in depth piece.
That shit aint no joke. Alot of people think he is crazy for not sticking with Murder Inc. But he left right before the feds busted that place.

I will post a interview that someone sent to me that is pretty inspiring. It talks about the road he went.

Did you know he was with Rapalot records before he went with Murder Inc?
I think his whole mystique is inventive. I hear he has a clothing label and wants to do a DVD that tells his story of how he came out and what he hopes to accomplish.

Did you hear how much he is spending?
Its a mega amount for his label.

In the article he mentions he was never invited to go to the awards shows with Murder Inc. And this put him off a bit since he was the one crafting mostly everything. He said he sat there watching from the television. One thing I like about 7 is finally a Hip Hop producer comes in who is basically here because of Prince.

In the Wallstreet article it talks about 7 working at a guitar store. Jamie Foxx surprisingly helped him along and told him to keep at his music because he was dope.

Even though 7th sign hasnt started he still is on the radio with Ja Rule's Mesmerize. I'm just interested in what his label/music is going to be like and what artists he will have on there and if Prince and 7 will work together.

I hope 7 becomes a superproducer icon in the same sense Neptunes,Timbaland,Jimmy Jam,Teddy Riley,Dallas Austin,Prince,Dr Dre have.
I hope he changes the game. He knows he has a short window in to get in there.
In the wallstreet it talks about the mounting bills and its crazy. Because after reading his story you realize he deserves it. I hope he innovates instead of pullin a P-Diddy.

I will check back when this site launches.
