I wouldn't call him a succesful actor? People still see him as either the guy who was in NSYNC or just as Justin Timberlake - the solo artist. Don't know many people who actually think of him as a REAL actor. His producers ; Pharell & Chad + Timbo did a supreme job on those 2 albums but it could have worked for other artists as well. He did a good job though.

Timberlake is only getting by as a middling actor. What attracts him is not acting itself but the money. He knows he can make more money in advance in movies than he can as a musician. He didn't write the majority of his hits anyway so he figured the way he can keep on having money is doing movies.

As for Bieber, his album is now expected to be somewhere around 400-410 instead of 410-440 as HITS had predicted. Billboard predicted the 400-410 which barely escapes Madonna's first week sales.

No they don't! He won an Emmy for his brilliant appearances on Saturday Night Live. He was so good on there. That I think he can actually join the cast of it if he wanted to. I'm pretty sure they asked him to. But I'm sure his budding movie career won't allow it..He is so gifted & talented...I guess those years on The Mickey Mouse Club trained him well..

Wow, and I had to re-read Billboard, it said 390-410K so 370K is definitely low...

Actually Justin wrote alot of his songs and he acted before he joined Nsync. But he's a shitty actor and I prefer him to make music. I do agree that it's more money involved with the movies though.

Yeah he was very involved with his songs But of course Timbaland and The Neptunes added that SPICE he needed. Nsync was a different story though .. him and JC started writing songs for the group towards the end.

Because of expectations. HITS made this ridiculous assumption months back that the album may do 730K, then it got lower to 440K, and then it was told the max it could see was 410 and now that number seems to get smaller. 370 is respectable because it shows his fan base is still intact for what it is, but he's not gonna sell like some may have predicted. 370 is good though but by comparison, that's low.

Justin Bieber’s reign at number 1 lasted one week. His “Believe” album had no legs as it turned out. Just a hair cut. Hitsdailydouble.com is predicting that “Believe” will drop from number 1 to number 3 by the time the sales week ends on Sunday. Bieber sold 373,000 copies in his debut week. But in the second week, the number will fall to between 125,000 to 150,000–at least 50% off. But readers of this column could have guessed that cosnidering our close examination of Bieber’s sales, especially through amazon.com. So what’s the new number 1? Linkin Park should come in with 230K to 250K. And second is Maroon 5, which has a hit single already in “Payphone.” They’ll do between 200K and 220K. Maroon 5 is a real success story im reinventing itself. Band leader Adam Levine is on “The Voice,” acting. and growing into a mainstream personality. Plus, the band scored a major hit last year with “Moves Like Jagger.” Congrats to Octone Records’ James Diener, who’s been with them from the start. As for Bieber, lack of substance is a major obstacle. My guess is he goes the Donny and Marie route, and hosts a variety show.

Oh no! Justin Bieber gets extremely upset after radio DJ compares him to Justin Timberlake and makes a joke about One Direction and Justin’s mother! Things get really tense and he hangs up the phone — listen to the interview!

Justin Bieber did a very strained interview with Detroit’s 106.7 show, “Mojo in the Morning” today and he ended up hanging up the phone on Mojo! Everything went down after questions involving One Direction and Harry Styles.

The interview with Justin started out friendly and sweet with the DJ complimenting Justin on his charity work and his new Believe album but things got a bit awkward when Mojo tried to give Justin praise on the song “Boyfriend” by saying “I thought it was Justin Timberlake.” Mojo adds, “I hope you take this as a compliment, I really mean it as that.”

But the Biebs was not pleased. “Man that’s crazy ’cause our voices sound nothing alike. I mean, saying I sound like someone else is not really a compliment.

They continue the conversation, speaking about Mariah Yeater and Justin’s song “Maria” and then Mojo brings up One Direction and Justin’s new friendship with the group. Bieber calls them “good kids” and said “They were in town a while ago and came over and stuff,” although he didn’t seem interested in speaking about it.

This is when the interview really started going downhill. “Do you worry about Harry [Styles] being around your mom since it seems like he likes older women?” joked Mojo. “I think you should worry about me around your mom, bro,” snapped Bieber.

“Justin my mom’s dead so unfortunately that wouldn’t work,” revealed the DJ, whose mom is in fact deceased.

At this point Justin hangs up the phone and his rep from the record company comes on and says “Hi so he got a little upset with the question and he probably won’t be coming back.”

The DJ explained to his fans that the reason he asked Justin about Harry Styles and his mom in the first place is because in a recent interview Selena s...d about it since Harry’s known for his taste in older women! So this was actually a joke Justin had apparently made in the first place!

What do you guys think? Do you think Mojo went to far in his questioning or was Justin overreacting in his responses?
