People are realizing he sucks. His fans all went through puberty and moved on with their lives, while Justin is still a 14 year old lesbian.

He's never been able to top his autotuned Christmas duet with Mariah. neutral

Not quite.

There are 200 million Twitter Users.

Justin Bieber has something like 25 million followers. How many of those do you actually think are fans who buy/download his music? Probably around 5 million (at his best). The rest are just sheep, following who they think are most popular.

They are not all white - Zyan is half Pakistani - some anti-Islamists have accused him of trying to pimp his religion onto his fans. I am assuming they are Jesus loving southerners lol

I don't believe he's even religious. Let's just say that before he was on X-Factor, he would have done anything not to be percieved as a Muslim.

Exactly! He's about as muslim as Ned Flanders.

But there is unbelievable prejudice towards ethnics in the music industry - unless your black.

He's still doing well. but i think this will be his last successful era, One Direction is about to take all his fans. Similar to what the Biebs did to the Jonas Bros.

Exactly! When is 425k not selling well? Who last sold those numbers? People are always quick to make him a flash in the pan. When actually he is still doing better than others..I like the kid. Even though I don't believe he is really dating Selena Gomez. But its all about image now...

A review in our newspaper "The New Zealand Herald" actually gave Biebers album a 4 star rating and Usher's only 3, it said Bieber sounds more grown up on some tracks, but Usher's is just turgid made for the audience R and B that is plain and is stuck in the late 90s.

I don't think Bieber looks more grown up with that Jason Priestly look, he looks still like a 12 year old cherry boy for paedophiles.

I would like to just add some more points on JB, and then I am headed OFF this topic. lol

Firstly, I do think JB gets a little more hate than average, When Justin Timberlake was out, he was not hated as much. Maybe that is because he had 'The Neptune's' production, which saved his sound MASSIVELY! His voice wasn't that bad to me.. LOL. But Justin Bieber has been called everything in the book and that gets old real quick. What I think; is that he is not an artist. Sure he inspires to be one, but to think his potential is parallel to the likes of 'The Beatles' which he claimed to be become bigger than..is just NUTS! (Why can't he just be himself..why does one want to be bigger?)

Sure he can dance a little, hold a tune by adding 'YEAH YEAH YEAH..' play the drums barely, BUT he is lackluster at best, and his producers are horrible. WHY? Because it's the same sound, and rapping on a record ain't going to make people take you as Serious as you need to be where you start selling millions. Respect to him, trying different sounds..but why can't he just be Justin Bieber? Accepting that he's a teen star, doom to fall off the radar big time..but hey..enjoy it while he can. Cause the day will come when he is forgotten, and pushed into the memory that was 'HEY I REMEMBER THAT 'BABY' guy'.

Haha, As with most artists of his caliber now..they have technology on their side like never before. Thanks to Twitter, Facebook, AND YOUTUBE. He has been OVER exposed more than anything like artists before him. But just because has millions of followers on Twitter and millions of views on YouTube...Does not mean he's 'Successful' or even worth the longevity those followers hope for.

I am not deceived by those numbers, because while he will still have a core crowd always sucking his dick. People move on, and thankfully (IMO) the older one gets, the more they appreciate authenticity and real music. You soon get tired of those same beats and crave for something real...At least I do..lol

So as for 'Believe' it may sell millions of copies, and it may shove him in the spotlight painting him more massive then ever before...But I 'Believe' that it's a moment..I hope he enjoys it..and like Prince said "I hope he picks up an instrument"... lol

If he refines his drum skills, writes more lyrics, ignore predicting sounds, get his OWN sound..and Stay 'CUTE' for the girls..he got a little more light in him. Anyone does..if they really want it..and are not distracted by what fame brings. We already know it brings you fans, money, clothes, etc..but if your heart is only in it for those things (Justin Bieber doesn't seem to have a heart for the music..IMO) and not because you really love music..FAME WILL KILL YOU. Not necessarily a physical death, but from the press. You have to love music and what you do..not love being cute, and having supportive fans..lol

That's is all.

Sad statement about American society that it can't wait for idols to fall. Although I poke fun at Bieber because of the machine that created his image and career, my heart goes out to the kid.

I disagree. Idols fall. That's part of being an idol. I do agree with you

when you say your heart goes out to him even though I don't really pay

that much attention to him. Like I said, while he's in it, I hope he makes

I saw that special earlier this week. He meant that statement as far as the pandemonium that was happening. He didn't mean it as he was more popular or better than The Beatles. He has to be very careful how he words things. Just like Chris Brown. Both are young & can get misunderstood a lot..

I should have said that my heart goes out to him because he's a kid and he's getting accolades and being used by the business...until the day he doesn't make bank for them anymore. But, that's as far as it goes.

Totally agree with all of this...I think all of the negativity people give Justin has a lot more to do with his extremely annoying fanbase then with him. And it annoys me how he always brings up people like Prince, Michael and other legendary entertainers b/c it seems to me the only reason he does it is to bring more attention to himself. To me it doesn't seem like he's going down in the history books because it really feels more likely that you'll see him on one of those "Where Are They Now?" programs honestly. neutral

Justin Bieber's "Believe" album is on course to net the singer his best sales week yet -- and the biggest debut of the year.

Industry sources suggest that the set, which came out today (June 19), may sell between 400,000 to 500,000 copies by the end of the tracking period on June 24. (However, it's still very early in the week, so those sales projections will change on a daily basis.)

If "Believe" does sell in the 400,000 to 500,000 range, that would easily secure Bieber his largest sales frame yet. His highest week thus far came when "My World 2.0" sold 291,000 in its second week on the chart in April, 2010.

"Believe" could also land the largest debut this year for an album. It would surpass the start of Madonna's "MDNA," which launched with 359,000 according to Nielsen SoundScan. (The best sales frame overall in 2012 was registered by Adele's "21" in the wake of her multiple Grammy Awards wins in February. It sold 730,000 in the week after the Grammy show.)

"Believe" will most certainly open at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart next week. If it does, it will be his fourth chart-topping set, following "My World 2.0," "Never Say Never: The Remixes" (EP) and "Under the Mistletoe."

The final sales figures for "Believe" will be released on Wednesday, June 27.

Found this article. Some people have high expectations for this album, so who knows?

Why is everyone surprised that someone with a marginal level of intelligence appears to be waning after 2 years. The only reason anyone liked him was because he looked 12 when he was 17 and young girls thought he was cute, like old Herbert style paedophiles. His singing is dreadful and his acting is wooden just like other teen marginal talents like Miley Cyrus.

I mean none of these stars have a career past 3 or 4 years. Who remembers the Jonas Brothers, Zac Efron, Britney Spears etc. Like New Kids on teh Block, Monkess, Backstreet Boys 5ive etc. Record companies see them as some quick cash and sales for 2 years and then dump them once they become less marketable.

In 2 years no one will know who he is

In 10 years he will be a in trailer with a potbelly, mullet and cap and have a wife called Ayla or Aileen and several kids called Billy Bob and Piney Jo.

hahaha you're speaking the truth. biggrin Except Britney Spears who sadly has a huge fanbase and was also recently inducted into the rock &roll hall of fame for her album( ugh). But whatever, finally Bieber is going away biggrin
