His first two solo albums are simply decent but nothing compared to his years with The Commodores and The Commodores were absolutely horrible without him. He is an extreme talent though. Damn shame that he's becoming known most these days for being that little spoiled brat's father.

The first thing I think about is that hairy chest of his. When he was in The Commodores, he looked absolutely horrible with those jumpsuits that made him look extremely skinny and ten feet tall and that lopsided afro that looked like a big ass bush that needed to be trimmed and shaped. He looked so much better in the 1980s when he got rid of those clothes and that hairstyle and when I saw him in the 1990s, he looked even better. One of the few people I can think of that actually looked better when they got older. I loved him as a kid, and still do when they play him. I love the Can't Slow Down album...but not the artwork!

That was a good show. It was one of those PBS specials with Dr. Henry Louis Gates.

Wasn't he suppose to be hosting that new show "Duets"?
