^ Actually Tina is credited as a lyricist on some songs off the Feel Good and Let Me Touch Your Mind albums. Since she ain't much of a writer, most of the songs were usually name droppings. Like "Chicken" for instance (which isn't on any of the albums but was on some Ike & Tina compilation released only in Europe), Tina was just saying words while Ike did the music. Don't know why Ike left himself off the credits for that album lol Tina also did the lyrics to "Make Me Over" from that album (which I love ). Tina and Ike both wrote "Black Coffee", which I'm surprised is not mentioned in the same breath among the other I&T hits. It's a rumor that Marc Bolan did guitar on "Nutbush" and it definitely sounds like it. [Edited 6/21/12 17:11pm] |

Nah Ike wrote the music. One of Ike's former musicians said this following Ike's death. |
