This was Zep's take on James Brown's thang! "Excuse me has anybody seen the bridge" shows that they have sense of humor as well. They have always been funky, just not as much as Grand Funk Railroad!

I like it. They put that little Zeppelin twist on the rhythm that keeps it from being a straight watered down JB ripoff. But yes, clearly with the "bridge" references & the unusual (for Jimmy Page) guitar parts it's clear where they are coming from.

It is a little blatant, but then, they stole all KINDS of music, so why not JB? lol

Yeah, the drums on this track are amazing. Robert references two Otis Redding tracks on this one and it is Robert who asks that famous question at the end.
