I remember this! Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley from KISS wrote "It's My Life", and Gene produced Wendy O's "WOW" album. Micki Free from Shalamar played guitar on "Legends Never Die" from the "WOW", too! http://www.kiss-related-r...l/wow.html
I got into the Plasmatics from seeing them on late-night TV shows, and I still have my CD of their first album, "New Hope For The Wretched", too. I hadn't seen (or heard) anything like them before! | |

Kick ass tune from a kick ass album. In the KISS circles this record is known as the "lost KISS album". I always thought back then that Ace was the lead guitarist on this song but it was Wes Beech (Plasmatics guitarist). KISS re-did this song on their box set.
The Plasmatics were a cool visual band. There's a new group called the Butcher Babies who are carrying the Wendy tradition of "black tape over the nipples/thong hanging out" look. | |

Thanks. I was thinking about the original album cover of Yesterday And Today. It is known as "butcher babies" or "butcher" because it shows decapitated dolls and slabs of raw meat.
