CELINE DION - 'MISLED' I wish she did more uptempo songs like this one. I love the vibe on this song. I dont have a problem with the sappy songs at all I just wish she did more like this one. This is one of those songs you hearing while at a shopping mall or supermarket that has you bopping along while you shop. lol

This is pretty good and I don't like Celine. Never heard it, this was late 80's?

This sounds like it could've fit right in on "Vision Of Love". Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...

Mid 90's actually (1994). This was on her The'Colour Of My Love' album

I agree. Has that early 90's sound from Mariahs album.

Yes, this is from her '94 album, The Colour of My Love. Not only have I seen the video in the past, the first time I saw it I thought to myself, ''Wait a minute...she's kinda hot''. ....

Here she performs ''Misled'' live on the Tonight Show back in 1994.

I don't like Ric Wakes uptempo pop housey stuff usually, and "misled" is no exception LOL.
But I do like this one though:-
Produced by David Foster, and about the last thing he ever did uptempo unfortunately. You can clearly hear a husky Ruth Pointer on backing vocals. [Edited 6/7/12 19:25pm]

I agree, this one is such a great song, and apart from the two megahits, the rest of the album is a total atrocity though, because it doesn't have more songs like Misled.

I'm more a fan of her ballads. I'm not a big fan of her uobeat material. I don't think it shows off her beautiful voice as well.

Listening now, this sounds really Lover in Me-era Sheena Easton or maybe a bit Karyn White-y. But they were all a good few years before this and I don't remember thinking it sounded dated at the time. I HATED Celine around the time this was released and was very vocal about it...but I LOVED the Marc Kinchen remix of this.

The Color of My Love is a masterpiece from beginning to end. My other favorite uptempo Celine track
Criminal that this was not a hit.
ETA: Casual fans that only buy her compilations never get to hear this [Edited 6/10/12 7:57am]

Love this upbeat one from her last album in 2007.
