Drowned world/Substitue for love is not among her anthemic singles, but it's DEFINITELY an all-time fan favourite. It's like... well, I was going to think of a Prince example to compare, but since so many of his songs are not massively known and are fan favourites, it's hard to tell.

Of course Orbit with Madonna in Ray of light were genius, but sometimes people forget that Runaway Lover and Amazing from the Music album, that are equally AMAZING as any of the best songs in Ray of Light, were also produced by Orbit.

Miles Away and down is very shocking except for Get Together. I kind of expected Miles Away but not the others

Yes, 6-10 were definitely unexpected, except for Get together, which is kind of a newer Madonna classic. I like the naughty Inside of me too.

One of the very best things of her very creative collaborations with Orbit. One of my favourites too. I think she should have performed it more. It would fit the 60's pop vibe of such MDNA songs like I'm a sinner, B'day song, GMAYL. She should bring her 60's soul infused songs from the late 80s too (Express yourself - ok this one she did -, Cherish, Keep it together, True blue etc). The MDNA Tour setlist could've been way better.

It's interesting that people that know her songs can equally elect songs from all periods of her career (at least from the first album to Confessions). There are gems everywhere. It's not really like she had a clear highlight and a clear downfall period.

Ok, maybe from Hard Candy on she may not be as good, and there are some people who like mainly or only the Erotica or the Ray of Light albums, or only the 80's, but the majority can pick gems equally from at least 23 years (82-05) of her career.

Yes! It's a perfect pop song IMO.

She will never sing it live because it's about Sean Penn - She will also never perform 'True Blue' for the reason too, although I hear she doesn't like it along with 'cherish', which is another slice of pop perfection.
