Her voice didn't seem that rough to me. I love the energy she gives though. I always dug it.

There is a HUGE noticable difference between her voice nowaday's & back in the 90's. Her voice sounds very rough to me. She's not like awful by any means, but it seem's she doesn't have the same vocal power.

Finally got the volume at this damn computer at work, to work!! Okay I looked at the video and Lauryn did her thanggg.. Great energy, good stage presence and she killed her rap parts. Now as for the singing.. It seemed like she was not really trying to sing. She was mostly speaking the singing parts to be honest so I can see how maybe someone might think that . However, technically she mostly spoke and shouted the singing parts. It would have been nice if she exactly singed them though

It wasnt the greatest thing in the world. Of course Lauryn has done better. I thought the rap was good but she wasnt really putting effort into singing.
