I think Beyonce's a good performer, but I would not go as far as The-Dream wink

Its possible in the Pop/R&B music the past 10 years, she is one of the best.

Come on now, (to the orig poster).

I feel sooo old, at 46.. not feeling the music from Beyonce - at all. wink

I would not want to compare Beyonce to one of the best: Michael Jackson.

Beyonce, she is on a whole other (much lower) level.. she's kind of a pseudo artist imo.

Besides, what is the-dream? (I have no clue)..

A hiphopper, I guess?

Pardon me. Who cares??

but... OK, at least I am glad Beyonce isn't mentioned as best performer since the musician, Prince.

cuz she is not..

(this is a post from a grumpy old man ha! smile )

You would, of course, expect someone named "The Dream" to have grandiose ideas about himself and those he works with. Moving on.

The-Dream is looking to secure a spot on the shortlist of writers required to write Beyonce songs for her, songs in which she will invariably take partial credit for.

Obviously, MJ is THE benchmark for all around best performer or so many people who can't reach that standard wouldn't be promoting themselves in comparison to him. razz lol

Now that is indeed the TRUTH! Dream is looking for some more of that "Single Ladies" money lol He got child support checks to write. They've already been working on new stuff according to him so.....you're absolutely right ID. But let me also say that, she too is looking for another "Single Ladies" crossover hit single from Dream.

In spite of what most of her fans say, she know damn well she was dissapointed in the overall sales of "4". I wouldn't be surprised if she came out with another record before the year is out. (At least with a first single.)

Oh...what some call drive, determination etc....I call insecurity. I don't recall Barbra, Tina, Diana or Janet influencing their own press for declarations of their status. Didn't that just come naturally over time? Damn...disbelief What's funny is considering when she came into the game, and her consistent success, she's already well on her way to achieving a long career in entertainment. There's no need for the extra. Just do you Ma. Just make sure you're growing as an artist while doing it.

HAPPYPERSON

they interviewed Michelle Obama after she attended the Revel concert

beyonce shadow e1338301886808 The Dream: Beyonce Is The Best Performer Since Michael Jackson

With a career spanning two decades and a plethora of hits under his belt, it’s safe to say The Dream knows an good act when he sees one.

So, it should come as little surprise to anyone that he openly declared his admiration for long time collaborator Beyonce. A collaborator, he says is the best performer the world has seen since Michael Jackson.

Details below…

Taking to his Twitter account, he explained:

Beyonce Knowles May very well be the Baddest MFkr on stage Live Since MJ! Period! Point Blank.

His remarks came after he watched the star perform at New Jersey’s ‘Revel Resort’ for her long awaited stage return, following the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy in January and the release of her #1 album ’4‘ a year ago.

This is probably 50 percent reason of why I DONT like Beyonce. Dream is smoking to much and anybody with common sense can see that...

But on a real tip, while I am not a Beyonce fan I wouldnt mine her as much IF THEY DIDNT DO SHIT LIKE THIS!!!!!!!! When clearly they overhype her and is overrated...

I wouldnt even pay 5 dollars to see a Beyonce concert thats how BORING she is and I would pass on a happy soul without EVER seeing her live or buying any of her dumb records

She is great onstage, but not super though I enjoyed her entertainment more than the songs (they aren't aging well for me except for a few). I think the reason people say stuff like this is because today's mainstream performers onstage just suck in comparison!
