Frank Sinatra ~ LA Is My Lady

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Haha, I saw that video for the first time a few weeks ago and was in half a mind to post it. biggrin

This is great news for anyone who has ever wanted to see Quincy Jones trying to eat a disappearing apple... or for that matter, proof that the Jacksons' Torture video wasn't the only place to look for an unconvincing fake MJ in '84.

Although I'm not an older American, so I don't recognise all the faces...

George Benson is playing on the song.

Some of them are David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen, Donna Summer, Dean Martin, LaToya Jackson, Missing Persons, Quincy Jones, Mayor Tom Bradley, Michael McDonald, Greg Phillinganes, Michael Jackson (with Frank, not the arm razz ), etc. Those are the ones I remember from the top of my head. They used to show this video a lot on Video Soul. I don't remember seeing it on MTV.

Ah yes, and I spotted James Ingram as well... it appears to be Quincy's contact list that was used. biggrin

Quincy produced this song. I think it was the first time Frank & Quincy had worked together in a long time.
