Rod Stewart Reveals Title, Release Date of Memoir

Rod Stewart has revealed some official details about his forthcoming autobiography.
According to TheBookseller.com, the memoir will be called Never a Dull Moment, the same title as the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer's 1972 solo album, and will feature a cover photo taken by his wife, Penny Lancaster-Stewart.
Stewart made the announcement at a trade event in London on Thursday night. Random House reports that the book will be 368 pages long and hit stores on October 23.

If Rod decides to really go for it and so a sho nuf tell all, this will be an excellent read. This man is a hot mess w/ a fantastic sense of humor, so it's potentially going to be a fine book.

Those albums sell though. The last few albums Rod released of new songs didn't. The audience for standards are more loyal than a Top 40 pop one, which is pretty much a youth thing. Diana Krall made her name doing them. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton | |
