Yay! I love me some Kelis! I wonder what sound she's going for this time.

Man I hated her latest material.

Really hope she goes back to her old roots:

Her debut and 'Tasty' were great!

Her last album was a cracker, I liked it. The gig I attended was not so great. All in all though....i'd still drink her piss.

I loved her last album and I'm looking forward to this one as well. The producer line up looks promising.

Change it one more time..

I wasn't too crazy about her last album but I wouldn't mind an electro dance album from her, just not house music. I'm just happy she's still making music. I love her. She does what she wants.

If she's working with Skream, she's going to try to do some dubstep and she might be able to pull it off...

I'll be looking forward to hearing this.....

She had her own lane and now is going totally dance. I'm not completely feeling it but I assume it's what she wants to do. Knowing me I will cop the CD, but I didn't listen to Fleshtone much outside of "Acapella".

Yeah I only liked "Acapella", "Scream", and "4th of July" from the Fleshtone album...

But I sure as hell am still bumpin' Kaleidoscope, Wanderland, Tasty, and Kelis Was Here, which are 4 of my top 6 favorite albums ever. I wish she would go back to the Neptunes though... at least for one album.

Yeah, her shoes look fierce, her hairdid looks fierce, the look in her eye

betrays her fierceness; whatever. Kelis doing a new album is boring

news on the pop culture landscape - she's nothing to say that is musically

interesting anymore.

She's utterly beholden to whoever's producing her and that's always made

her predictable.

Me too! I really hope she starts working with The Neptunes & Raphael Saadiq again, but mostly I would want to hear her working with Pharell because it seems, he's getting back his inspiration in music again =)

Re-reading this thread, I am obviously in the minority with people who though dance music suited her really well lol

Thought it was her best album since Wanderland

Personally I wouldnt say it was her best since wanderland, but I liked it. It's sad she didnt get much attention for the album (she kinda did here in Europe) because Rihanna totally took the concepts from her videos and same musical direction and it worked for her and it's unfair lol...

Kelis was doing this way before Rihanna and Gaga got big its very unfair.

Flesh Tone didn't rank that high on my 2010 year-end list. I like her albums in this order:

1. Wanderland

2. Kaleidoscope

3. Tasty

4. Flesh Tone

5. Kelis Was Here

Yep... I told my friends some yrs back and they'd just look at me and say who? and then I'll show them, and they'll be silent... lol.. Life is so unfair sometimes -_-
