Re-reading this thread, I am obviously in the minority with people who though dance music suited her really well lol

Thought it was her best album since Wanderland

Flesh Tone didn't rank that high on my 2010 year-end list. I like her albums in this order:

1. Wanderland

2. Kaleidoscope

3. Tasty

4. Flesh Tone

5. Kelis Was Here

You liked Tasty better?! whofarted

If you will, so will I

Tasty had more personality. I listened to Flesh Tone again the other day and it confirmed my original assessment that it's a little one-dimensional musically.

Chuck plots not caring for Kelis in 2012.

The radio rip is here !

I LOVE it. Nice 90's UK garage sound. I can't wait for a HQ version.

I can't wait till the HQ version leaks, I'm already hooked to the LQ one. The lyrics and vocal delivery are classic Kelis. She may just be the most consistantly good artist out there. I'm really excited for the trip hop feel she said her album will have.

Oh and IMO Flesh Tone was a monster of a dance pop album.

I agree, I'm excited about the trip hop too. She's so awesome! Cool to see more people showing appreciation for Kelis smile

It really was, so much better than other dance pop albums that came out in 2010.

A surprise considering Guetta produced the lead single.

I'm liking the new song, but it's not an instant love like Acapella was.

You shouldn't talk so badly about your ass, I'm sure it has more than one dimension. comfort

I listened to Tasty again recently too and I like it only slightly more than Flesh Tone. I'd rate them both around 7/10.

Thanks for your concern about my ass's self-esteem brick

7/10 isn't a bad score. That's what I'd give Tasty. Fleshtone gets an 8.5/10.
