One of the best female guitarist is only 14 and does a tribute to Chaka Khan

In today's world of Black female artist who are beautiful but don't write their own music, don't play any instruments, it's good to see an artist like Gabi Wilson who is beautiful and does it all.

Gabi Wilson is only 14 but has been called one of the most talented kids in the country.

Watch her do this Chaka Khan tribute to see why.For all you musician's out there, listen to the chord's she's playing during the chorus.Amazing!

You can also check out her youtube channel, "GabiWilsontv" and watch her sing and play the heck out of Yolanda Adam's "In the midst of it All", on piano.

Damn anyone that says "ain't nobody out there playing instruments who are black and female" probably need to use Google often because that's just generalizing folks.

Thank you mjscarousal, that's exactly what I was referring to.The one's on the cover of every magazine and the subject of every black gossip website.

The one's young black female's are idolizing all over the world.

I hope Gabi releases a Lauryn Hill type album and we get behind it to show record companies that THIS is the kind of music we want our kids listening to.

I dont see why the OP has to be criticized because I dont think they were generalizing. Although the statement was referring to ALL I dont think thats what they meant... the OP could have been clearer.

I think they were only implying how female singers are only heavily marketed for their looks or sexual appeal in todays "commercial" industry ex. ( Beyonce, Brittany Spears, Rihanna, Katy Perry, etc) more so than musicianship or music which is technically true.
