PSB Fans Have You Ever Seen It Couldn't Happen Here?

It was on IFC believe it or not once and i caught a good 30 minutes of it. It was bizarre & i enjoyed what i saw & of course knew the music. But is it worth it to buy? it is pricey a lot of websites i go to & it was like 20 bucks in Amoebas.

I heard it's not a bad movie, but that it is surreal & doesn't add up to much... but idk i really love the boys & feel i should give it a chance.

What do you fellow fans think? And what songs are in it?

I know for sure

Always On My Mind

Love Comes Quickly

Kings Cross

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

It all depends on your level of fandom. I have it on tape somewhere and while its worth a couple drunk/stoned nights of viewing its pretty much what you see is what you get. It may be surreal but there doesn't seem to be much thought behind what is going on. Theres no message or statement from what I was able to tell. Its just PSB fun.

The best part is Always on my Mind with the English actor claiming to be an illiterate bilingual, but you can find that on you tube.

Hell you can watch it here.

i can't say i'm really a fan, but i really like the early stuff in particular. it's not really a movie in the normal sense, it's just a bit of arty fucking around as popstars did in the 80s, like moonraper etc. it was never released on dvd, only vhs and laserdisc, so i presume it's bootleg copies or OOP original videos

i think there are websites where you can download it for nothing if you type the name of the movie into google and add "torrent" to the end

^It is what it is, and while Im a big fan of the boys, Im not the type of person that needs to have everything that an artist/s I like has done. I can separate the grain from the chaff.

The movie is mostly gravy with very little substance. I agree with inique and torrent it.

Well i'm nearly done with it......

Eh, i can see good & bad thing's with it. I could say oh i don't get it... but it's bascially Neil & Chris going on adventures with random shit happening which explains the ''it couldn't happen here'' Movie name lol

The movie is pretty much nonsense, but i liked some scenes & lots of suprising tunes

I was suprised 2 divided by 0.

Also Kings Cross was a welcome suprise to, and the rap version West End Girls was cool to.

Yeah i can agree with that for sure!

A Lot of just fucking around & weird events. But somehow i expected this is what the entire movie would be like lol
