Stop with the fucking Beiber/Prince/Michael comparison. Just fucking STOP!!!

Yes, please do.

KCool, you say more things like that and people will just discount your opinion.

Bieber is neither Prince nor MJ. And he never will be.

I am not in no WAY shape or form comparing Bieber or anyone to my all time only favorite musical genius icon PRINCE. If any of U think that let me clear it up now..All I said was that Bieber looked up to him as a musical prodigy. MJ I never put into the equation. That is some other thing here that brought him into it boo boo... giggle

eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

Justin Bieber's Boyfriend is like Prince's If I Was Your Girlfriend meets Justin Timberlake's Rock Your Body.

Very predictable, but effective. cool I just wish music critics would STFU and let the young man Bieber grow up already.

Usher is dumb as fuck.

How does Justin rate as an MC?

USHER: He's always been a dope MC. C'mon. Easy. "Boyfriend" was really the defining moment; it became No. 1 everywhere, which is what dreams are made of. Both of us are being modest about what our journeys have been in terms of songwriting: Justin really has participated in every writing session—that's amazing. It's easy to just dial something in, but if you make the music authentic, people feel connected to you as an artist from the beginning.

All he has to do is make a great album, and everybody will love him.. I think he's capable of making great music if he tried.. he clearly has some talent as a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, but he appears to prefer making music for 12 year olds..

I don't think it's possible to know. He might be, but all I have personally seen from him is an okay prepuberty singing voice and rudimentary guitar playing (I saw some video on youtube for fast car where he didn't even play the picking part, and sang it pretty poorly too).

He is capable of development (everyone is) but he is having the same problem as all of those Idol winners who you never hear from again. He has become famous before earning it. He has all of the benefits of celebrity without having to work for it, look at Prince, For You sold poorly, Prince wasn't exactly a blockbuster and it wasn't until 1999 he started to become a superstar, it took around four albums for him to become famous. The Beales worked their asses off to get a record deal, and even though (in my opinion) their best work came after Beatlemania, they still showed talent enough to justify the hype. Pretty much all the pre 2000's music giants (who had longevity) had to work hard to gain celebrity status and had the chance to mature musically in the background.

I guess what I'm trying to say is with most longterm artists the music has to get recognition before the personality, Justin has gotten the fame based purely on his image and hasn't really done anything to justify having a huge fanbase (or hatebase). He hasn't earned his place and as such he hadn't gotten a chance to work on his music, I doubt he even has a huge input into what he is releasing now.

I'm not saying he sucks (I think he does btw) it's just that he should really be a nonentity at this point in his career. He should have started out playing in clubs or minor gigs and writing songs before getting this huge image he has now.
