I think that Whitney Miracle deserves a place on the list to.

For a star like her who had done mainly love songs or songs of heartbreak etc. To take on a subject matter that is very serious today but back in 1990 it was like eek

So i think it's awesome she took on a song with that subject matter and it even became a top 10 hit!!
