This album came out right before Confessions & In my experience was the first like HUGE album i can recall.

I mean where the singles where everywhere, the look, the sound. it was unique & i mean EVERYONE liked Outkast, these mofos would even get played on the rock stations lol , I mean no matter what genre people where diggin Outkast was always cool.

And i recall people buying excited and buying the album out to... so to me this and Confessions after was the first big event album i remember razz

They were VERY popular, they need to come out with another album before they fall into Lauryn Hill category.

Uh oh.

I made this claim awhile back (that OutKast's music is so genre defying that they

could also be considered neo-soul - and this song is a perfect example of that

claim having some merit) and people's heads exploded.

But I agree with you Carousal.

For a while Big Boi and Dre were taking a break to do their own things, but I believe Big Boi said in a recent interview that they have been having issues with their record company over releasing a new album. mad I hope they can resolve that soon.
