She kinda lost her singing voice on Nobody's Daughter though. To me the "poetry" from back in the day( "Live Through This") isn't quite there, which made me question her early work a little. I mean you don't just lose that do you?

It's a step in the right direction though. From what I've heard the production was littered with problems though (surprise surprise).

I kind of agree with you. I like the Foo Fighters more than you do but there is something lacking in their music and, in general, I think Courtney has made better music. However, that has nothing to do with the allegations she has made against him. Dave may be a bit boring but in this case I think that makes him more credible. He has a long history of no controversies and being reliable, whatever you think of his music he seems to be a pretty levelheaded and decent guy. Courtney? She's been batshit crazy from day one!

People go beyond objective criticism with her, I don't think the knives would be so at the ready if she were a man. A piece of work, not to mention perhaps not the most stable person on the face of the earth...but she is a survivor, that can't be denied, though it doesnt have to respected or admired.
