Same thing with Jeffery Osbourne and Lionel Richie. They should have stayed their asses in their groups and continued making the hard jams they were known for.

I would say the same for Charlie Wilson and Ronald Isley but they are a different type of split up because funk was already dead when they went solo. They're just fucking disgraces for selling out to the type of music that killed what they were previously doing. That's like a motherfucker killing a member of your family and then you sitting there having a drink with him afterwards. lol

"Prove My Love" was simply decent but not an ass shaker by no means. I can't remember much about "Ocean Wide". I remember the name but I wanna say it was either a slow or midtempo song. I can't remember because I haven't heard it since it used to be played on the radio. If it were great though, I would have remembered it. lol

Ocean Wide was in the same vein as Prove My Love. If you like Michael Cooper

OWWisms over a nice uptempo track then this is for you. These two songs were

probably the fastest songs on the album IIRC.

Come on i know you have Jeffrey Osborne's On The Wings of Love and

We're Going All the Way on 45. lol

Ironically the only thing i have by Jeffrey Osborne solo embarrassingly

i might add is 2 45's The Borderlines and Room With A View. I had to be

pissy drunk when i bought those 45's. lol

I do like Jeffrey's solo debut album however but never bought it.

The only thing I like from him is "Baby Stay With Me Tonight" and even it ain't that hot. "I Really Don't Need No Light" is tolerable but not buyable. Both those songs are maybe "free downloadable" but definitely not buyable. lol

Michael Cooper? I didn't know he also sang. I remember him as an underrated part of the Showtime era Lakers.
