NEW Shakespear's Sister CD "Cosmic Dancer" The former Mrs. Dave Stewart (of Eurythmics), Bananarama member, and musical partner of Marcella Detroit continues to move forward with Shakespear's Sister. I don't think the group is as good without being a duo, and can you belive it has been 20 years since "Stay" was released?!?! I thought she and Marcella were a brilliant pairing! Still, it's good to see she's putting out new things!
Anyway - here are some details about the new CD:
Cosmic Dancer is the fifth studio album from Shakespears Sister / Siobhan Fahey. Featuring tracks recorded over the last few years, Cosmic Dancer follows Songs From The Red Room (2009), with a mixture of acoustic ballads and electro. (With the exception of ‘C U Tonight’ and ‘Wings’, which made their debut on the It’s A Trip EP) each track is on CD for the first time, digitally remastered. Cosmic Dancer is a stunning body of work featuring delightful cover versions of Patti Smith’s ‘Dancing Barefoot’ and Marc Bolan’s “Cosmic Dancer’.
