One of the best if not THE BEST funk song! Its timeless. Your great grandchildren will be bumpin' to this song. Masterpiece.

It also has elements of rock and gospel in it. The lyrics are simple and repetitive but damn powerful.

I always thought this was a political song masquerading as a dance/funk song.
