So it was forgivable in their case because they're men, and therefore fathers have less of a responsibility to their children than mothers do? You're basically propagating double-standards right there, which makes you in no position to dispense parenting advice to anyone.

Women in all various sorts of professions head straight back to work after having a baby, and no one dares question their parenting skills for it. And don't give me that bullshit about how it's only lower-income women who need the money, plenty of actresses, CEOs and other financially well-off women don't put their careers on hold for motherhood when they have enough money to take years off from work if they wanted to.

I highly doubt ANYONE on this board truly gives a flying fuck about Beyoncé's or Blue Ivy's well-being. This is just another excuse to needlessly criticize her. You guys were hoping that having a baby meant she wouldn't be in the public eye for the next few years, and to your collective disappointment this is not the case. What I was implying was that they didnt JUST give birth to a baby and had to go through the PHYSICAL trial and tribulations of that. There is no rush for her to go back to working. Putting the fact that she is overexposed to the side... she should rest her body that was the point of that comment. Futhermore, Im not here to give or not give parenting advice to anyone . Thats my opinion. Your in no right to tell me what I can or can not say about anything. Of course thats not the case for every woman in the world because I cant speak on EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE WORLD and the studies can not either.

Also, I said MIDDLE CLASS... middle class, working class IS NOT POOR or LOWER but their not MILLIONAIRES where they probably could afford to take a couple months to a year off to tend to their baby at least when its first born.

In most cases... Their jobs will give them 1 MONTH and in SOME cases their LUCKY IF THEY GET THAT. Now once again not saying this is for EVERYBODY but in MOST cases it is and thats not bullshit but whatever take it how YOU want it take it Thats primarily for middle class even for upper middle class which is rare they can afford to take a YEAR off thats not bullshit thats makes perfect sense because they have to at some point go back to work because they need money OR their job doesnt offer that kind of leave for pregnancies, So they HAVE to go back to work..

Most middle class women during their pregnancy get 1 month off and thats when its NEAR their time to deliver but besides that their at work... working cause they need that money BUT believe me if they could afford to take off personally I THINK they would.

Not everyone is fortunate to have that luxury to be able to decide when they want to go back to work or when they want to raise or be their for their child. Thats why I said whats the rush for Beyonce? She just had a baby.. (not to mention her last album didnt do so well because she is overexposed anyway) This is a good time for her to take a break and that was the point most people were getting at in this thread for the MOST part. I dont see how thats bashing her but okay.. It seems pretty rational than calling someone a crackhead or rapist..or being cruel comments that are said about alot of other artists on here but nothing is said about.

Im not saying in ALL cases if a mother or father (who has money) wants to get back to working after having a child they do not care about their baby but their are SOME that dont give a shit about their baby or their child or their teenager or their grown ass son or daughter etc etc and etc...just care about THEMSELVES.. the spectrum can go both ways..
