In May 2010, Campbell performed on The Mo'Nique Show. He said that many people wanted him to work again on music and is thinking about a comeback. In November 2010, he was featured on the remake of a song by Quincy Jones called "Secret Garden". The remake features Usher, Robin Thicke, Tyrese Gibson, LL Cool J & Barry White. TVOne's hit show Life After will feature Campbell's life and career, as well as updates on his comeback. Air dates are scheduled for early 2012. Wiki

I am adding Mandrill to my last. Talk about unsung - there are many people who still have no idea who they are. Yet, at one time EWF opened for them. I think they are soooooooooo underrated. I would love to see someone, anyone tell their story. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...

Yea! I saw him on Monique. He said on there that he was hesitant about the music industry now. That is the story he gave.
I also heard that lame Quincy Jones remake. But didn't know about "Life After" .That show always leaves out the scandal. They never tell the whole story. will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

What about Digital Underground? They were one of the last rap groups to break and of course Tupac emerged from this group.

Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs!!! He sang on Rick James 1981 album Street Songs. He reportedly dated La Toya Jackson for a time.[img:$uid]http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc443/afterlifeMe/73642.jpg[/img:$uid] [img:$uid]http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc443/afterlifeMe/R-1800379-1244174576.jpg[/img:$uid] [Edited 3/3/12 15:11pm] Just Music-No Categories-Enjoy It!

From what I've heard from a friend of mine, some of the siblings of Slave are trying to put togther an episode for them. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will happen.
I agree that a Mother's Finest episode would be great.

I never knew Freddy "Boom Boom" Washington had a singing career. As for LaToya, was this before or after Bobby DeBarge? I have to say, he doesn't seem her type AT ALL.
That said, I have sometimes wondered what happened to him. [Edited 3/3/12 17:16pm]

I'll bite. Remember YOU ASKED!
Well frankly she was supposed to be kicking w/ it Bobby D during the time anyone would be sweatin' ol Boom Boom and not to mention I think Bobby was more to her liking lookswise. (hint hint) It seems DeBarge men had a mainline to Jackson sister poontag, to be slightly crass about it!
Perhaps Freddy was LaToya's "Jermaine Dupri moment".
Then add in his uncanny resemblence to Joe....naw, can't see it! [Edited 3/3/12 18:38pm]

Love them....good. Just the other day I was thinking maybe Clyde McPhatter should be on this show. I dug the whole doo wop era.

Yes, Doo-Wop and 50's groups have been absent from this series.
I'd also like to hear from Hank Ballard, The "5" Royals, The Cadillacs, The Flamingos and others. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Yes I'd like to see one about Tevin.

Yes, Clyde McPhatter's story definitely needs his story to be told. For someone who's often mentioned in the same breath as Sam Cooke and Jackie Wilson, so few people know about him. I know the songs and the voice, but next to nothing about the man.
