Miranda Lambert Blasts Chris Brown During Her Own Concert

twitter.com//DanielleEBowers

It is now apparent that Miranda Lambert isn't a fan of Chris Brown.

After slamming the singer on Grammys night by tweeting, "And Chris Brown twice? I don't get it. He beat on a girl," Blake Shelton's little missus continued with her anti-Chris campaign Thursday during her concert at the University of Massachusetts.

Before singing "Gunpowder and Lead," about a woman preparing to kill her abusive husband, Miranda pulled out a poster with handwritten letters saying, "Take Notes Chris Brown"

Them would seem to be fightin' words.

Brown hasn't turned an entirely deaf ear, or blind eye, to the fallout from his dual Grammy performances and first-ever win. But he opted to blame the media for the fresh batch of negative attention.

"DEAR MEDIA.. Ur plan is not working…I'm not going anywhere so get used to me," he tweeted Wednesday, adding, "How long is this gonna take?"

"Get a good picture now, put it on Twitter," Lambert instructed the crowd, holding her artwork high. "I've been in a world of hurt with Chris Brown fans lately...but see, I just have to speak my mind because where I come from, beating up on a woman is never OK."

Lambert then cracked, "So that's why my daddy taught me early on in life how to use a shotgun."

Wow, we wonder how she feels about Brown getting back in the studio with Rihanna. Actually, never mind, we don't wonder. We know.

His age doesn't justify anything, he was an adult in an adult business, not a lost college kid like most of us at that age. If he made a mistake and has made amends, then I hope he doesn't repeat his behaviour again cause he seemed like a good kid before it all, but if he's still like that and Rihanna is giving him a free pass, I don't think she's being fair to herself or sending out a good message to her young fans, although it's not her fault if he beats her. I just hope she doesn't do something like marry him, and if they want to remain friends which is both of their choice, that he keeps his hands off her and treats her well this time.

He hasn't shown ANY growth over the past 3 years. Hell, his last album was called Forgiving All My Enemies.

Ni**a, are you serious???

The GMA incident.

The songs he's released.

Shit, just look at his Twitter.

He just acts like a punk bitch time after time after time.

Maybe, I'd be more forgiving if his music was any good.

this stupid bitch sucks, her music sucks and she should shut the fuck up. Chris didn't beat her ass, and she has no clue about the dynamics of Brown and Rihanna's relationship as it stands today. According to what I've heard- Rihanna has forgiven him and they remain friendly. How much of that is the truth I don't really know. How much of that is anybodies business, I do know. It's NONE of our business- between them two and their families.

I dislike Chris Brown for his awful fucking "music" more than anything, and I do think he is a major douchebag, but this shit is getting fucking ridiculous.

All this self-righteous bitch is doing is trying to draw attention to herself. Blast Chris Brown for something that happened 4 years ago so people will talk about you on the news, blogs, and your twitter will blow up.

God damn I hate this type of shit.

But all anybody gives a flying fuck about is that some punk ass no talent hack pop star motherfucker beat up his girlfriend when he was 19.

Yeah, let's get all fucking upset about it 4 years after the fact when it didn't affect anybody but Rihanna and her family. If she has forgiven him and moved on- that's her perogative- it was between them.

Just don't expect me to sit here 4 years after the fact and get all fucking pissed off he beat her up 4 years ago any time he wins an award for his shitty music. I'm more fucking pissed that he won the award for making really shitty music.

oh absolutely not and you KNOW no one here is saying that.

But we're four years after the fact and he wins his first grammy, performs twice on a increasingly mediocre awards show(for his career, something that has nothing to do with his dating life or legal troubles etc) and everyone's up in arms about it??? REEEEALLY? confused

We know what he did... why are we acting like it just happened? Look at all the other men in the entertainment industry. Jame Brown? Ike turner? Prince?(don't know if what Sinead said was true) just to name a few of the people mentioned on this board. Chris isn't alone here.

So disengenious, you are.

And yes, I am ranting. I am sick of this stupid god damn bullshit.

That hoe who I had never heard of until this week, is a self-righteous little bitch that is doing nothing more than trying to draw attention to herself. Fuck her.

Chris Brown is a fucking pop star singer that makes really shitty music. That's all he is. This motherfucker isn't a politician or a school teacher or a police officer or any other form of public servant. He is an auto-tuned asshole. I don't want to hear about something this little prick did 4 years ago every time I turn on the tv. The US media is a joke. I just turned on Fox News and CNN earlier this day and they were talking about this chick pulling this stunt at her concert. Really? Like that has to make national headline news?

So am I ranting? You bet your ass I am. It's fucking ridiculous.

This stupid cunt knew exactly what she was doing when she twitted and held up that sign at her show. Stupid twat should twit herself in the twat and fuck off and die.

Oh, he's just a kid! Like every other 19 year old in the country is beating the shit out of his girlfriend.

I AGREE and once again I am not trying to justify his actions but looking at his age can give a better understanding... I just think people go overboard sometimes with the whole Chris Brown and Rihanna thing. I mean.. it happened, he apologized and they seemed to have moved on from it... I dont know why the media and people keep dwelling on it.

Im not sure what else do they want Chris Brown to do or say?

Do they want him to be thrown in jail?

Do they want him to be banned from music or entertainment?

I mean the media sucks celebrities dry and then once they pass away its this big o we love you and blah blah bullshit..mad

Based on how Chris Brown acts now he seems to be arrogant and bitter about the whole thing because the media keeps dwelling on it so I can understand his frustration with that. Once someone apologizes I dont think they should have to do it ALL the time and in Chris Browns case every interview he does he shouldnt have to apologize or be made to feel like his a horrible human being... everyone makes mistakes... His a young man that is probably going to make plenty more just like the rest of us. Hopefully he learned from that past relationship but I just think people should really mine their damn business all together and stop trying to pick apart people especially people they dont know.

Ouch do we really need such angry rants?

Look, all a lot of us are saying. Is that Chris is a very immature person, regardless of the Rihanna incident! he is rude, hateful, arrogant and full of himself.

And he doesn't seem like a fun guy to be around at all, Chris Brown has lots of issues he should deal with if he wants continued success and love from fans. Cause eventually his ramblings will fall short.

If he apologized, I hope he doesn't go back on his word, but guess what, many partners apologize for abuse or drinking or whatever, promising not to do it again and the same pattern keeps repeating over and over. It really doesn't send out a good message to Rihanna's young fans, just saying.

Right... I think the reason why for the most part people dont like him is not so much the Rihanna incident even though that does have alot to do with it but I think its his attitude and the stupid shit he puts on his twitter.

But see... looking at Chris at the Grammys made me think deeper about why he acts the way he does. He seems so angry on the surface but I think honestly his really sad inside...like its all over him through that arrogance. I am not sure of the reason but he definitly has personal issues... that is why its not good to judge people.
