80s R&B flashback: "Thinking About You" by Whitney Houston (1985) This is my favorite song on Whitney's debut album.Written and produced by Kashif, who can also be heard on the chorus. It would have been really cool if Whitney had done an entire album produced by Kashif....

Clive was not going 2 do that. He had to work in Narada Michael Walden's work. Narada had done a few songs for Aretha that Clive thought were great and put her with Whitney. Narada ended up doing the biggest hits on there. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Clive really phased Kashif out, didn't he? On her second album, Kashif only produced one song (the excellent "Where You Are").I guess his sound was "too R&B" for them.
