For someone who's 75 years old and has early signs of Alzheimer's, he was a lot more sharp and energetic on stage than the Beach Boys. Kudos to his performance.

Devil's advocate, Brian had always been like that and the other Beach Boys are starting to age as badly as he is.

Wasn't he a Beach Boy before they hit the big time?

short and bittersweet. I wanted a saxophone and all that but I understand you can't just call people up and have them put on a show stopping performance tribute within 24 hours. Whitney will have more tributes over the course of the year. [Edited 2/12/12 19:51pm] 12/05/2011

Very touching performance by JHUd.
But I'm a little pissed that they didn't mention Don Cornelius in their In Memoriam tributes. They acknowledged Steve Jobs and the producer for the Oscars but not the man who put soul music on the map?
Oops, I stand corrected. LL just mentioned him.
