For someone who's 75 years old and has early signs of Alzheimer's, he was a lot more sharp and energetic on stage than the Beach Boys. Kudos to his performance. clapping

Devil's advocate, Brian had always been like that and the other Beach Boys are starting to age as badly as he is.

A couple of my favorites (besides "Rhinestone Cowboy") are "Wichita Lineman" and "By the Time I Get To Phoenix".

Glen Campbell?

ok

Wikipedia states:

He was a touring member of the Beach Boys, filling in for Brian Wilson in 1964 and 1965. He played guitar on the group's Pet Sounds album, among other recordings. On tour, he played bass guitar and sang falsetto harmonies.

short and bittersweet. I wanted a saxophone and all that but I understand you can't just call people up and have them put on a show stopping performance tribute within 24 hours. Whitney will have more tributes over the course of the year.

Very touching performance by JHUd. touched

But I'm a little pissed that they didn't mention Don Cornelius in their In Memoriam tributes. They acknowledged Steve Jobs and the producer for the Oscars but not the man who put soul music on the map?

Oops, I stand corrected. LL just mentioned him.
