Lady GaGa is apparently on the brink of announcing a record-breaking, two-year, 450-date world tour.

According to The Sun, the eccentric performer is planning to smash U2's record for the highest-grossing and most attended tour ever by taking her shows across the globe.

Speaking about Lady G's ambitious tour plans, a source told the newspaper: "The Haus Of GaGa is taking things up a gear."

"GaGa and her team have ambitions to match, and better, huge pop and rock acts from music history like Michael Jackson, the Rolling Stones and U2."

They continued: "She is planning to kick things off in Asia and India next year and go on a gruelling world tour."

"As is always the case with GaGa, the plans came to her in her sleep. She has a target of 450 dates. It has never been done before, but she's doesn't think that's a reason not to try."

Yeah, this seems to be a lot of work. Granted she is still young, but will she still have a voice by the end of the tour? I mean...she will, but will it still be the same?

This is just....in-fucking-sane. I applaud her ambition, but I think this is a little over-ambitious.

Gaga announced a few dates. More to come.

Mother Monster announced her 2012 world tour dates for her "Born This Way" Ball, scheduled to begin on Apr. 27 in Seoul, South Korea.

"The Born This Way Ball will perform 110 shows around the world. The opening dates are out today, with more announcements to ensue," the 25-year-old Gaga wrote on Twitter.

The tour, which will run through 2013, will include stops in Japan, Singapore and Australia.

That 450-dates rumor was ridiculous. Gaga doesn’t lip sync and she records on the road, so there’s no way she could pull off a 450 dates in two years without destroying her vocal cords.

Anyway, I’ll go see it. I just hope she has a better sound team; The Monster Ball was too loud and turned into a distorted mess at times.

I have to ask though, when will she be making new music?

I'm not a big GaGa fan, but going off her wanting to break U2's record. Those mofos haven't made a record since 09 and it was half ass as fuck :lol:and they have been on the road seemingly non stop since 05 when they won album of the year for that blah album How To Dismantel An Atomic Bomb

If she tours this much she won't have time to make music, but i guess it's better then doing what Rihanna does lol

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

I'm surprised nobody has brought up how stupid the title "Born This Way Ball" is.. can't she ever come up with something new? It was bad enough her first two albums had near identical titles... is her next album going to be called "Born This Way Monster"?

I don't like going to shows, and LG isn't too exciting on stage.. I'd rather have a new album. Unlike most, I consider "Born This Way" (near) classic, "The Fame Monster" really good, and "The Fame" generic garbage..

I'll be excited for the next album.

agreed. and I begrudge Gaga nothing. I respect (most of) what she does, who she is, and how she connects to her audience. but I think that the Lady Gaga fatigue has set in. and I'm wondering if the entire Rise and Fall of Lady Gaga's career happened between Madonna albums. too much too soon? or just too much? it all seems kind of trite and a little less special in the last couple of weeks. and the whole Born This Way era of her career, to be honest.

I'll be there for the LA shows for sure!

450 shows is a bit of a stretch. BUT she did damn near 300 shows when you look back.

The Fame Ball was 69 shows and lasted from March to September 2009

The Monster Ball was 201 shows and kicked off November 2009 to May 2011.

She only had a one month break between the two tours.

Most likely we will get a new album this year for sure. If not a new album, a new single to prepare for the new album. Gaga is truly racking in the money. I ain't even mad...
