Lana Del Rey has suggested that she may not release a follow-up to her album Born To Die.

The 'Video Games' singer explained that she feels so content with the LP that she is not even contemplating another release.

I don't think I'll write another record," she told Vogue. "What would I say? I feel like everything I wanted to say, I've said already."

Del Rey also said that she viewed Born To Die as a tribute to her former wild lifestyle.

"The album is a tribute to living life on the wild side. I'm sort of kidding because I'm not that wild any more... used to drink a lot. Too much," she said. "I haven't had a drink for seven years now."

Del Rey took to Twitter this week and thanked fans for having "softened" poor reviews for Born To Die.

The album is expected to reach number one on the UK chart on Sunday (February 5) afteroutselling the rest of the Top 10 earlier this week.

I believe it was lastdecember who said lana didn't take her career seriously and when I first read the quote from her stating that she didn't care if her career went nowhere because she felt it was a privledge to be a singer yada yada I thought it was endearing. I figured it was a healthy attitude not to get all bent out of shape about criticism I felt went way over the boundaries of sensibility. But after seeing this it just seems like she's just going through the motions (In LIFE). She has nothing else to sing about? Really? Has she never read a book or newspaper? There's plenty subjects she could be empathetic about. But then there's that aloofness I'm so fond of. She'll probably never be able to relate.

Well from the lyrics I've seen shes basically just talks bout her privileged lifestyle that was handed to her, like her music career, on a plate by her rich father. I doubt she can read.
