biggrin I love you now.

I barely hear his name around here, but Work Out has been played heavily by my local radio station.

I made a post about him a while back, Timmy went in it but others as always were ghost.

His album debuted at number on the billboard top 200 not too long ago and went gold recently. The only problem with him is that he can't make a hit record I think Jay-Z was trying to have him chase the hits like Drake (people like to pin them against each other but they are friends) but he's not that type of rapper ..still worth a buy though. And oh lawd I hate workout confused lol

Timmy84

The way his raps are, he seems more an albums artist than a singles artist.

I agree. I think his next album is going to be the one because his debut was rushed and some of the songs are from mixtapes. I’m happy he got that best new artist nomination for the grammy’s this year. smile

Yeah I do. You can tell it’s forced just to get a hit especially when you listen to his other songs it’s very WTF. He needs work in that department but it’s good he’s not a singles artist like timmy said.

J. Cole isn't slept on @ all. The guy's album debut @ 1 & sold over 200K it's first week. People on this site doesn't seem to care about hip-hop much unless it's old school artist. I think J . Cole is dope.....but he can't fuck with Elzhi or Kendrick Lamar. I don't care what anybody says....

الحيوان النادلة ((((|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|̲̅̅=̲̅̅|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|)))) ...AND THAT'S THE WAY THE "TITTY" MILKS IT!

Of course it's a forced song. His most commercial song yet. I'm a sucker for it though.

"Can't Get Enough" is my jam. J. Cole is breath of fresh air from lil wayne and drake. Even though his music is similar to their's.

Most exciting rap artist to come out of 2011 - he's got swagger - "can't get enough' and "work out" - should have been huge hits, but his verse on Beyonce's "Party" was pretty weak compared to Andre 3000's

His WAY better than Drake and Wayne, although his material is very similiar. He has a nice flow..

I havent really been into rap much anymore. 'Less its Kanye, JayZ, Nas, Kim or Common I really can care less about rap anymore.

I heard a little about J.Cole though and what I heard sounds ok.

Nah, dude is nice. Helluva a lot better than most of his peers actually. I heard his mixtapes awhile ago and thought he had a future. Haven't checked his official release "Cole World" yet though. Hopefully he stayed true to what I heard in those mixtapes.

Been listening to his album all week in my car

LIGHTS OUT AND NOBODY'S PERFECT - ARE MY FAVOURITE

BUT WHAT'S UP WITH THE SONG ABOUT HIM GETTING A GIRL KNOCKED UP ?- THE RAPPER WHO SINGS THE FEMALE PART SOUNDS LIKE A DUDE! STILL LIKE THAT SONG TOO.

Loved him ever since his major debut "Who Dat", which is still my fave.

His die-hards don't want him to do commercial raps at all. I do tend to think his commercial stuff is the weakest though he's never bad.

I know, they want him to remain their little secret, which I can certainly understand. smile

There's something about him that reminds me of Prince too. Can't put my finger on it.
