D'Angelo live in London Is it worth going to see this next year? Has he done any gigs lately? Anyone attended? What sort of state is he in? |

If it's anything like his past shows then I'll be very pleased. Soultronics might be too wishful a thought but booked the tickets anyway.

I want to know if he's an overweight, overblown using addict or he's cleaned up before I book a ticket! |

Jesse Johnson just posted this on facebook:
Dearest Babies that think I'm Cute, Sexy, & Nice:
It's been really, really crazy ride as of late! Got sick in Minneapolis from eating cantaloupe on Delta Airlines. 28 hours in MN Emergency, but the next day did in-store at Mall Of America, and then played full show the next night...I'm either a G or an idiot!
The same night Soul Train Awards aired i performed a concert with El Debarge, Booker ...T of THe MGs's at Ra Pour in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. All while conversing with D'Angelo about being his lead guitarist on the European leg of his tour! So all i can really say is FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We'll see what happens in the Mayan year of 2012 P.S. My new RELEASE is ALMOST READY TOO! Kisses, HUGS, & PEACEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ♥♥ Jesse Johnson (Did you feel that? It was my heartbeat. I Cannot believe how much serious love & respect people show me where I go or play. It makes me CRY at night when I'm alone in the middle of the night...out of love.
(My Mother always called me "The Frowner" when I was small tike, I think that was why she tended to dote on me more than the other children, because as she would put it: "I would always be saddled with light inducing talent of some kind, but will also inherit an internal heaviness that will come with enlightenment) I think maybe she meant depression! I was 3 years old when she told me these things. Love you mom! (Her name is also Jesse too!)

How can Jesse do that when he is touring with The Time next year & doing his own gigs? He would be spreading himself to thin. [Edited 12/14/11 11:21am] will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! O I C...I still don't feel he should do it. Jesse is his own artist. Unless D is paying him stacks on stacks to do it. Even though Jesse says he is not in it 4 the dough. But he has to make a living somehow I guess that is how artist make there money now by touring. So i guess I can understand it now.. will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! How have i missed this... tickets are mega bucks on the resale sites for the Friday. And have you seen that it says this on the HMV ticket site:
"The third album, considered one of the most anticipated in popular music, is said to include contributions from none other than Prince, along with other musical heavyweights like Ceelo Green and Mark Ronson."
