Uh, I don't think we can be backtracking on what the contextual meaning of the word "sweet" is in this sense. When someone on the street says they think you act "sweet" it has EVERYTHING to do with them thinking you're gay. It's been a gay slur for decades so let's not pretend it isn't. Serena Williams embarked on a huge rant just last week in which she seemed to have a meltdown about a failed relationship.

Drizzy and Serena were said to be dating briefly last year but these reports were never confirmed.

Speculation has mounted that the tennis star was distraught at learning Drake had started a relationship with model Dollicia Bryan and that is what sparked her Twitter meltdown. A couple of months ago, Drake gave an interview to Complex magazine in which: "I really, really love and care for Serena Williams. She’s incredible. That’s someone I’m proud to say I know. She’s definitely in my life and I’m in her life."

Serena began her huge rant by writing: "I tried. Hard. I've been doing everything I can to bite my tongue.... But......... But really?? Shocking," Serena wrote.

"Like really, really??? FORREAL!!!!??!!!!! RT @kmcme @serenawilliams S!!!! LOL. Ok... Like FOR REAL??? Come on.... WTH?"

Realising that she may have been worrying her followers, Serena thanked her fans for putting up with her subliminal messages, writing: "Ok tks guys for listening to my hummmm's and ahhhhhhhh lol."

She added: "I'm afraid to sleep... because I keep dreaming about you...Even though I try I can't let go, something in your eyes captured my soul. Every night I see u in my dreams. Your all I know I can't let go."

on the flip side..no disrespect for any orgers but why can't we have a Drake and a Common without having to compare the two saying one is shit verses the other. When you look at all the talentless Muthafuckas out there in the music world that have no talent at all. Why can't we support both of them? You may not like drake's music..but you respect that he has some talent. Why can't you be a Common and a Drake fan?? Why are peole always putting black folks against each other? I guess it's always been that way for hundreds of years..... but I think it's getting old.

My other isssue is people always say that you can't be from the suburbs and be a good rapper. This isn't necessarily a drake thing....this goes for any rapper whether it's drake or will smith. You don't have to be poor or be from the hood to be a good rapper. You don't need to be an ex con to rap. All rap doesn't have to be about money, bitches, and drug dealing. Jay-z has been a millionaire well over a decade now.... He ain't still dealing with ghetto type shit issues in his life. He is far removed from the hood...but he is still a good rapper. You don't have to be hard to be a rapper. I also had that shit that people want to discount him because he is half black and half jewish. who cares??? If you can flow....you can flow.

To answer jaime's question about why black folks are always pitted against each other. Well - and you can view it as an unfortunate circumstance, rap music is (still) a predominantly black genre and usually when beefs started in the early 1980s with Kool Moe Dee and Busy Bee Starski, it was always to boast how their style was better than the others. As time grew and the rap styles changed from just street lingo to violence (the so-called emergence of gangsta rap), the beefs got more personal and/or territorial (look at Boogie Down Productions vs. the Juice Crew; Ice Cube vs. NWA; Dr. Dre & Snoop vs. Luke, Eazy-E and Tim Dogg) and seemingly reached a breaking point with the rivalry between New York's Bad Boy Records and Los Angeles' Death Row Records (mainly from the ongoing rivalry between ex-friends the Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac). After a while, people cooled on the intense beef though there were still disses, albeit thankfully never got violent. Nowadays, people who do beefs don't necessarily take it violent but make it appear to be personal when it's really just for comedy reasons now. Common's and Drake's beef is just for comedy really.
