Anyway....PETA are some of the most childish acting folk I've witnessed. The run up on people while they are chilling with family, coming from the club, store, throwing paint on people, bad-mouthing them etc....damn. They're wacky as hell. lol

surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water
I ain't felt this way in years...

Huge Janet fan but not happy with this whole campaign.

- She is a vegetarian (she confirmed this on the George Lopez show) and has in the past spoke out against animal cruelty on behalf of PETA.

- Yet she does this? I hope she realises sooner than later this is a huge mistake.

-Then again we all wear leather what is the difference?

I am an unapologetic carnivore! I enjoy meat in my mouth! wink

With that said, I was very understanding of PETA's "supposed" cause. with the exception of enjoying meat in my mouth, I did all I could to further their "supposed" cause!

However, as it stands...with ME...

Until, PETA puts their meat, where their money is...when it REALLY counts. Like going after the likes of Sarah Palin...like they SHOULD!

They can pick any Sable, Mink, Chinchilla, Fox...fuck it...Rabbit clad...cheek of my ass and suck it hard! finger to THEM!

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

some information 4 the (I'm holding mylself not 2 name them) people

and yes, a lot of the times animals are skinned alive becuz it seems 2 improve the quality of the fur..

the only thing these animals are good for is to feed and clothe me, where da hell do you suggest they live, they would over populate the earth.we cannot coexist with non domestic animals. please tell me what else are they good for besides food and clothes?

disbelief

I do not support Janet's in this case or anyone other celebrity or promotes real fur. And I also do not support any abuse of animals. I do understand the cruel rules of nature, but I cannot justify animal cruelty for pure business purposes. It makes me sick to my stomach. And it has got nothing to do with being vegetarian or something like that. It is possible to use whatever the animals can offer us and treat them humanly while they are alive.

Real talk:

I think it is hilariously hypocritical of people in this very thread and others like it here over the years, to express so much rage over the treatment of animals when we speak of how humans are treated on other forums and there is nary a word from any of you.

I'm not for PETA, I'm only against animal cruelty for pure business purposes, as daq said. Besides, on a half job-done-body I think fake fur would fit much better lol animals just can't cry 4 help but they feel as much pain as we do.. I'm not defending PETA here. And there's one thing called food chain...we eat meat becuz we're in the top of it like other animals. But skin an animal alive just 4 a fashion matter...and I know it's not just janet...but whoever that make campaings 2 sell animal fur...but anyways, I was surprised and sad that most of u guys agree with that. but please take some and think, in a moment when we're running out of natural resorces and a lot of species are vanishing from the face of the earth, how necessary is 2 wear animal fur if at all?

I don't wear fur. I don't support animal cruelty and I give money to animal causes other than PETA because they suck ass.

However, I am not shocked about what Janet did. It's her life. On a site named after a person who has had his share of treating humans like shit, threads like these make me giggle my ass off. It's hypocritical.

Unholyalliance

While I'm not big on fur being used just for the sake of fashion, I can not stand PETA's hypocrisy. This is the same organization that has killed more animals in its shelters than any other institution in the US, ironically enough. I really think that the lack of B12 in all of those vegetarians have turned a lot of them crazy as fuck.

really? do people still need furs 2 cover their asses? do you know anything about the way they get those furs...dig a little bit and u will see how painfull and cruel it is 2 the animals...

That's not the point of my post. The organization seems to viciously and publicly attack any celebs that they can in order to make their organization known. It's not necessary to bash people as if they were the ones who did the actual slaughtering to the animals who are hurt. If they choose to wear furs then it's their own free will and choice to do so.

I understand what you're saying. They focus on a celebrity to draw attention to the issue but don't seem to care about the average joe/jane who's rocking a fur coat. They didn't seek just any of their percieved worst offenders just the one who would make good press.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I see PETA is still clueless about how counter-productive they are with their age old "shock and awe" tactic. Janet shouldn't bring anymore attention to this with a response. Don't take the bait.

They're not as dumb as they seem.

Cunning as all hell, had they compared kiling animals to the holocaust, they would've written their own death sentence lol

eek Really? Wow, doesn't surprise me though, considering their history of attempts of grabbing headlines. I doubt if they'll ever be taken seriously. They are their worst enemy, not the people wearing animal skin. Like I said earlier, just counter productive.

I don't think anyone has said that abusing humans is ok. But I always voice my opinion when it comes to animals because they are truly at our mercy. People have more power to defend themselves. Plus I have this feeling that some people think that the whole universe is here to "serve" us, humans, as someone has already stated here and that drives me crazy. I just don't believe we have the "right" to do whatever we feel like doing.

Janet Jackson has been named the Grinch of the Year in a new poll compiled by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and WENN.

PETA bosses looked back over the year to find the three celebrities they are most at odds with over their fur-wearing, animal exploiting ways and Jackson's plans to team up with fur firm Blackglama for a new line of pelts gave her the clear edge.

PETA spokeswoman Wendy Wegner tells WENN, "While the holidays may be known as the season of giving and peace on earth, that's not always the case for our animal friends.

"When Janet Jackson had her infamous wardrobe malfunction during Super Bowl XXXVIII, at least what popped into view of 170 million onlookers belonged to her, unlike the animal skins she drapes herself in, which are as dead as her fashion taste and her career."

Source

Those Peta members sure can be vicious!

Was that necessary to say that? Meanwhile Janet is collecting mega bucks doing nutrisystem commercials looking ageless....

Face the facts, there are folks who value animals as much as you in terms of your life. To them, wearing a fur coat is like wearing your slaughtered mom's skin to promote glamor.

You can call them names, disagree with them, whetever, but they are there, and they feel enough emotion about it to get violent to try to stop it.

Just another faction of people who have a belief.

I love Janet Jackson's skin. I find it beautiful. Since no one can dictate us what to wear, i would like a pair of shoes made from her skin. I mean, i don't think she would have a problem since she does the same. So, can i have that?
